Animation Team (Needing Voices, Artists, Musicians/Composers)
Project Overview
Hey there, my name's Haven. I have a small team currently working on a huge animation project, but I'd like to increase the team size by about 5-10 new members.
I'm looking for the following:
1 Artist for environment/location concept art.
1 Composer/Musician to help bring together background music/intro.
3-5 VA's
What I could use but am not necessarily requiring:
1 Modeler
1 animator
I wish I could give you more information about the animation, but it's being kept under wraps right now to everyone except for the main team. The info I can give you is that we're working on two animations; an action animation and a drama. They will take quite a long time to develop, even though we have already started. We hope that this time next year we will have made enough steps forward to grow a fan base for it. The first two episodes of one of the animations has already been scripted, the second one we are still building the world for.
What I will require from everyone is the ability to be open minded and work well with a team. Our team is designed to work together and we want to be able to have everyone feel comfortable communicating with each other to help share ideas. This is long term, so I hope you would be ready to stick it through to the end. There is the possibility of getting paid depending on certain circumstances. I can offer no guarantees though. Even the smallest bit of assistance will be credited.
Also, everyone needs to have Skype.
More specific information will be describe for each position under their respective listing.

We have one last spot open for the male and female VA's. Casting call will be closing on Friday, but the spots could be filled before then.

This casting call is closing tonight at midnight. Female VA's have all been filled. There is one spot left for the male VA's.

Hey there my wonderful musicians! You guys are super important here because music can really bring a show to life.
One animated series being worked on I'm thinking would work well with an acoustic sound, mainly guitar but any other acoustic instruments would work well too. It's more laid back but will have scenarios that will require quick paced scores as well. The other series would want a heavier sound. It's an action packed series that is built to play with your emotions.
If you can produce music that you think would suit either series I would love to hear it! It doesn't have to be to my description if you think you have a better idea.
Expectations:
- The ability to stay open minded and adjust a song to certain specifications if required.
- The ability to write scores based on situations given/the way characters are described.
- Using your own music that you produce, not taking someone else's work and claiming it as your own. (That's kind of a given though).
- Good audio quality.

Hello artists! We will mostly be requiring artists for environment/location concept art. We already have a character concept artist, however it'd speed up the process if she didn't have to do the environment art as well.
Expectations:
- The animations are all done in 3D which means we typically would want all locations drawn out in a variety of ways.
- Usually, we won't require a location to be coloured/coloured in fascinating detail, but there is the occassion that it might be needed. With that said, if you would rather add colour, that's fine too.
- The ability to draw locations based on descriptions given, usually it would be fine to add and improvise to settings as well.
- We are looking for a mostly anime styled art. It's not that super realistic isn't appreciated, it just doesn't quite fit the style of this animation.
- Have Skype.
Send me a voice clip with a short introduction of yourself and your prefered art style and comment on your audition to a link of some (preferably anime-esque) art that involves some form of location in the back ground (ie. a forest, school, battlefield, etc.). It's nice if you have concept art experience, however that is one of the last things we'll care about.

- You shouldn't sound like the tin man. Unless you're doing an impression of the tin man. In which case, go ahead.
- Be believable. Act, but don't overact.
- Have Skype.
We will need teenaged boy characters and adult men. Try a variation of character types if you can. If you can only do one voice really well, that's fine too, do that voice.
You have options; Send in a demo reel, improv and/or do the lines specified which are designed to be age neutral. It'd be nice if you gave a short intro to yourself as well, but it's not exactly necessarily.
You should also note that I'd really like to be able to have you voice a few other projects that I may be in need of voices for. I tend to reuse the same VA's instead of putting out a casting call each time I do something new.

If you're a girl who does young male characters as well, feel free to add those voices here too. We need more female VA's than we need male VA's so please, audition away!
