We're looking to get short-term voice actors for a personal for-fun project made with Blender's Grease Pencil. Unlike most voice acting roles, there are no lengthy scripts to read. Instead, you will be saying quick one-liners from the trailer dialogue. It is preferred you do at least 2 takes per line, to ensure quality and help eliminate the need for asking for redos.
The project is a 4 minute long epic 2D animated trailer on 2WEI's music "what a wonderful world". Based on the book The Monster's Stratagem, by Heather Darte.

Story synopsis
"The Monster's Stratagem" takes place in a dystopian future. Scientists, in their pursuit to enhance human capabilities, created a new species called "Monstra" - beings with wings, horns, violet eyes, or scales, possessing superhuman senses and strength. Marginalized and objectified, the Monstra's resentment towards their human creators simmered into a full-blown rebellion, culminating in their ascension as the new rulers of this world. A century later, humanity has been reduced to scattered enclaves, barely surviving in the shadows. Their dreams of ever reclaiming the Earth all but extinguished.
Then, people on both sides start to mysteriously
disappear, forcing a human and a Monstra into a strained alliance to stop the impending threat together.

In the next phase of this project we'll edit the audio and finish the rough draft of the animation.

Syrena (lead) is the young female commander of the Monstra army. She is cold, introverted, highly skilled, boastful, but highly values honor and keeping true to ones oaths. She is extremely loyal to (and protective of) the few people she cares about.
(unhappy, clenching her jaw) "Gone." (arrogant, disapproving): "You are too good (at lying). I see no honour in being deceptive."
(offended, nearly whispering): "We are nothing alike." (deeply hurt, blindsided, feels betrayed) "What? ... Why?"
(annoyed, straining, (using a ridiculous amount of strength)) "Why won’t this open?!" (embarrassed, angry) "This is beyond humiliating!" (straining and angry): "Aaaaaarghhhh!!!" (panting/grunting) "You will pay for this!!!"
Dawn (+-20) is the protagonist. She's a scavenger trying to survive in a dystopian world, where humans are being hunted by "Monstra". She has a deep voice with a raspy quality to it. Dawn is incredibly convincing with her words. She is streetsmart, sarcastic, charming when needed, and is driven by taking care of her younger sisters.
(matter of fact): "There are always clues to every mystery, you just have to go out and find them, rather than wait for them to come to you."
(apprehensive, she has no choice as she is being held captive): "I will help on two conditions."
(upset, then angry:) "What do you mean "You're" weak? I wanted to be protected! It's humiliating! What I wouldn't give to have a fraction of your strength! You say you feel weak and pathetic? Try being human!"
Rose is the main character's best friend. She's known for her wit and is honest about her experiences. She is lively and extroverted and loves to tease.
(indignant, emphasis on "one"): "I broke one bow!" (Hesitant): "And you didn't really need that ugly mug anymore did you?"
"So, essentially, you escaped by singing "The Nibbler and The Dribbler" to a monster who happened to be a prude? I knew teaching you that song would come in handy. Although I hate to say it, you might be more devious than me."
(grim, hollow, downcast): "Five are still missing. Six were found dead at the border."
Leixa is the commander's best friend and second in command. She is lively, extroverted and loves to tease.
(grim): "She was found mutilated East of King's Grave forest."
(smiling): "What do you mean "you're nothing alike?" Look closer then."
Zyire is the king of the Monstra (highclass society). He is very eccentric.
(wedding day): "I swear, on my honor, that i shall remain by your side from this day forward. I shall act as your weapon, your shield and your protector."
(unamused): "And the prisoner? (silence) Fix this, Commander."
Garrett is the strategic and scheeming leader of the human resistance.
"I want you to give me everything that you can remember about the kingdom. .... Your tone implies that this is an impossible task.... There are many things you don't yet understand, Dawn. But you shall find out soon. Everyone will."
(commanding): "Venturers, hold position! ... Venturers, run!"
Alani is calculating, tough, secretive and solitary. She has managed to survive longer than most in the human settlement. Despite her solitary nature she has been mentoring Dawn ever since her parents died.
(reluctantly impressed): "Finding someone's weakness and exploiting it to your advantage. Just how malicious are you, lass? The leader will want to hear about this. You are not to tell him a single thing you told me, is that clear?"
(just realized something bad will happen): "He wants to find the clues before it's too late."
(matter of fact): "A flaw in the system, though it works best if the participants are similar, or have a connection."
Head of the Monstra killing squad/raiders from the North. He is arrogant and overconfident, and has sadistic tendencies which he hides from his life partner.
(Taunting, evilly gleeful): "Well, well. What do we have here?"
"Surrender or this blade slices her throat. Don't you want to protect your little... pet (disgusted)? Isn't that what you're here for? Tick, tock, Syrena."
(disgusted): "Just as I thought, you're hideous. (taunting): Clever little tongue you've got there, perhaps I should cut it out."
