Supernatural Animatic DEMO (Original)
Project Overview
Hi, my lovelies. My name is Grey.
I've been writing a supernatural story for the past few months and as a fun side project I've been drawing up a storyboard alongside it. I voice one of the main characters in it but I'd love to collaborate with the community and make a proper pilot/teaser.
THERE IS NO AI, and the art that I use is entirely drawn by myself. The portraits for the roles provided are quick sketches and aren't representative of the final product!
As of right now, the story has no official name. To give a quick summary of the story, it's a slice-of-life romance dramedy that follows a trio of friends after graduating college in modern day America and adjusting to adult life, when suddenly they discover the hidden supernatural world. It's supposed to be fun and silly, inspired by all your favorite (or maybe hated) shows/movies like TVD, Twilight, The Secret Circle, etc. So expect hijinks and shenanigans with vampires, werewolves, witches, fairies, spirits, and more on top of navigating adulthood. There are LGBTQ+ themes.
The project is unpaid though I hope you are still encouraged to audition. It's going to be a simple animated storyboard/comic of a few chapters I've written, which introduces the main cast and a couple supporting characters, and a good chunk of plot points. The storyboarding is currently in-progress, and I'm hoping at least a couple people audition for each role before I make any decisions, which will give me time to refine some things.

Whatever format you feel comfortable with, but I prefer AABBCC.
When running lines, feel free to improv them as you'd like! Give them accents, replace words, add/remove contractions, make up a new line. Whatever feels right to how you perceive the character! I tried to provide minimal direction and give more vibes.
If selected, we'll get in contact, and I'll send over the full script so you can record your lines. We can discuss new ideas or any changes that may come up. The intention for the project is to be one-and-done, but if by popular demand, I may reach out in the future.
This is my first project on here and it's my first time attempting voice work, so please do not feel intimidated! Whether you have no experience like me, or you've been around for a bit, I hope you think about it!
Voice Actor
Sensitive, loyal, and capable. Mid to Late 20s. He's the youngest of the werewolf pack, second in line for alpha status to Ryan. The kind of guy you want in your party during a zombie apocalypse for his expertise in random things. A party animal that doesn't shy away from a couple drinks. Is a tattoo artist when he's not working on cars at a garage shop. Think gritty/grungy guy with a secret soft side.

Voice Actor
Stubborn, assertive, and loyal. Mid 30s. He's next in line as alpha in the werewolf pack, but often overshadowed by his older sisters. Built from the family and societal pressures of working hard and "doing good", he becomes a mediator between the supernatural and the mortal societies. Not the kind of guy that plans the trip, but will stick to the strict itinerary schedule. At heart, he looks out for the people he cares about. Also is a total movie nerd, and a park ranger that lives in a cabin in the woods.

Voice Actor
Modest, dependable, and genuine. Early 30s. She's part of the local coven and specializes in magic with verbal components, like chants and passages. In tune with the forces of nature, she's responsible for protecting the city from supernatural invaders but loves to teach magic to those with open ears. In her spare time, she sings in a band with fellow coven members. Though she isn't the most witty or intelligent in the friend group, she's always willing to listen to you vent or provide a comforting word.

Voice Actor
Passionate, honest, and impulsive. Late 20s. He's the town sheriff and the vampire leader's right-hand man. His unique perspective of criminal activity and living on the streets during his youth made him the perfect fit to enforce the rules from a position of power. Using the tricks and connections he's gained, he's the guy that knows a guy... Despite the tough guy act and being plenty useful, he can be caring and understands that life doesn't always play fair.

Voice Actor
Decisive, competitive, and straightforward. Mid 30s. He's the son of the coven leader, carrying a legacy he's not sure what to do with. It's an unending feeling of needing to do the best and to know the most, and having to fix everything that goes wrong. When he's not practicing magic or managing the other witches, he skates at the ice rink and plays for the local hockey team. Regardless of how he seems to treat others, once you've made it on his team, he looks out for you.
