A Hetalia 2D RPG game. The game is an alternate universe timeline that takes place in a biblical AU. It focuses on the story of the Second Coming. Based on Himaruya's webcomic Hetalia and the largely fan-created 2P/Another Colour alternate universe, The Beginning and the End is a dark tale of a young man and his brother's struggle to survive in a crumbling world. However, as Jason Gray (2P!America) fights a disturbing presence growing inside his body, fate throws the two brothers a devastating turn they never could have imagined. Meanwhile, in the human world, catastrophes have risen to a new high — hurricanes, tsunamis, and earthquakes are wrecking civilian lives. Nations scramble to save their world... and with each passing moment, the beginning of the end looms closer and closer.
Please help us get the voices we need so that we can get the trailer out ASAP! All auditions are welcome. They should be of at least decent quality, which means: no static, no background noises, etc. Minor noise is workable; we can edit the sound out easily enough, but if it's too loud or constant, then it's difficult to do so.
You will of course receive credit in the trailer and in the final production of the game!

One voice has been cast for our French Male Narrator! The deadline has been extended to the 26th -- we've gotten many good auditions, but we're keeping things open for a little while longer to allow for more talent to audition. Good luck to you all!
It should be similar enough to his voice actor’s samples, seeing as he doesn’t have as ridiculous a voice as his brother Feliciano’s.
[to a couple, with disgust] Any chance of you two cutting out the excessive PDA anytime soon? It's getting kind of disgusting. I'm trying to fucking eat here.
[angrily] Don’t tell me what to do or not do—!
[to Feliciano] WAIT? Wait to do what? Wait to DIE?
He speaks with a typical posh British accent, an often pompous tone to his voice. He lits and fluctuates in his tone, adding a flirty and slightly feminine tone to his voice. It’s an easy voice to listen to, soothing and comforting when it’s not downright condescending.
[to Jason, who is grievously injured — with a gentle, hushed tone] Ah, you’re awake. Good. You’re still weak. Lie back and drink this. Don’t waste your strength.
[to Jason, kindly] You haven’t quite figured yourself out yet, have you? You must be intimidated. [A short pause.] Don't worry, I don't mean to frighten you.
[seriously, with unwavering faith] God put certain people like us here to be punished. I haven’t a single clue what we’ve done to wrong Him. But I have spent my entire life searching for redemption. For return to the world above. You must believe in the Father. We are going to save your soul, my child. That I promise.
It should be similar enough to his voice actor’s samples, but a little less on the accent.
[anxiously, in a slight panic] The world is falling to shit, and there’s no way to prevent it from happening.
[to Feliciano] What I don't get is why you had to spend five hours picking out four three-piece suits for this. Maybe if we were going on a vacation, but this is an *emergency meeting*, Italy.
You think I’m an idiot? I’m *not*. I’ve read the manual three times over. I’ll cite it for you, if you still think I’m wrong. [A pause.] No? I thought so.
This is one of the voices with looser requirements. A voice of a man in his early thirties to late thirties. Any interpretation of a Chinese accent will do.
[angrily, demanding for an answer from Alfred] Natural disasters, countless deaths in the past few days… what are we supposed to do about this?! I thought we came here because you had a plan.
[to a government official] Keep looking. Whatever it was that caused this, I want it. Do not stop until you find the person or the thing that’s behind this. And, understand, agent — we are not to let America, Russia, or any others know about this. Understand?
Alfred: How about you get your ass over here to the meeting and play nice with the others right now?
Yao: How about you pay me back the several trillion dollars you owe me right now?
We need a male narrator who can speak French with a convincing accent! Reading will be a version of the Lord’s Prayer, and the voice should be soft spoken, a man from his early twenties to late thirties. It doesn’t really matter.
[in a light, hushed tone] Notre Père, qui es aux cieux, que ton nom soit sanctifié, que ton règne vienne, que ta volonté soit faite sur la terre comme au ciel.Donne-nous aujourd'hui notre pain de ce jour.Pardonne-nous nos offencesComme nous pardonnons aussi à ceux qui nous ont offensés.
[in a light, hushed tone] Et ne nous soumets pas à la tentation, mais délivre-nous du mal, car c'est à toi qu'appartiennent le règne, la puissance et la gloire, aux siècles des siècles.
[in a hushed whisper] Amen.
He speaks with a distinct Southern accent, a casual North Carolina one. It’s moderate, not too heavy or too light. His voice is the sound of a young man in his early twenties.
[grimly, as if speaking privately to another person] This kinda world is gonna eat you up if ya don’t have a sense of survival. [pause] If you’re soft, you’re gone. [pause] Ya don’t even have a chance.
[mockingly, with slight reluctance] Ha! Yer the most deluded man alive. You’ve got somethin’ wrong in yer head. Should get that checked out.
[quietly, slowly] No matter what I do… [short pause] The dreams won't stop coming...
This is one of the voices with looser requirements. The voice of a young girl in her early to late teens will do, as long as it is soft, high enough to pass for the character description, and is spoken with an Australian accent.
[to herself, quietly and grimly] So they’re coming back. I knew the day would come, but so soon? He must be gaining in strength.... [A pause.] Abaddon. Deceiver. Lawless One. You’ve gained a multitude of names and titles in these past centuries… serpent of old. Must you really continue this pointless war?
The end is fast approaching. HE is coming... The serpent.
This is one of the voices with looser requirements. Any voice with no discernable foreign accent will do... a light New York accent will also work, but nothing particular like a Southern accent.
[formally, delivering a political speech with confidence and moving enthusiasm] But everyone here, not just Sakura, has performed spectacularly in this past half a year. I have never known any group of people with such strength and resilience, in all these decades of my life. There is no group of people better than us, and all our fellow nations, to serve as the figurehead for our people in these difficult times. Tonight, when we drink, I ask you all to remember not only the lives lost, but the lives that continue to look up to us to lead them. Tonight, when we drink, remember the people... and remember the strength of us nations! It’s been a pleasure to work calmly with everyone in these times of calamity. Every one of you!
[with determination and self-assurance] That’s why we’re here. To make the plan. Apocalypse or not, we’re the only ones who can turn it back.
[angrily] Answer me! How did you know? This wasn’t released on the news, not to anyone. How did you know about this?!
A bouncy Italian accent — his voice is that of a grown man in his mid or late twenties. Samples from the anime’s voice actor exist (link here), but it is appreciated if you bring a lower, less childish voice to the table, still with enough of the accent to make it recognisably that of the character’s. Don’t mind the clip itself; the show runs on a lot of dumb humour. The game’s nature is serious and grim.
[seriously, lightly mocking] Well, I suppose the one thing you’ve got going for you is your horrific fashion sense. I’m sure no one will want to get close enough to kill you, then. [A short pause.] Except me. This is a tragedy.
[to Germany] We all know what's happening here, Germany. And if we're having a dinner beforehand, it's not all that urgent.
