Among Us Story: On Guard FANDUB
Project Overview
What is this?
The Among Us Story : On Guard Fandub seeks to provide a voiced non-profit video (and-or possibly mod should it be permitted) of the Among Us On Guard demo that is currently on steam! This is a labour of love and to show support for the game! So- none of the voice actors will be paid, and this project will in no way be monetized;
Our story follows Operator; who has been forcibly coaxed asked nicely by our staff at MIRA R&D to take on the the role of Guard a dedicated security guard on a mission to find out who the evil, evil impostor is!
With the help of coffee, bullying our Engineer and crawling through the vents-- will you help bring our fallen Crewmate friends to justice?
Requirements
We will only be casting people over the age of 16 to ensure quality; We're looking for people who can abide by deadlines and be cooperative for the duration of the project-- if interested, we might follow up on a full game dub once it releases! In which case we will follow up on casting any other characters who may remain unvoiced.

Once you record your amazing auditions, please submit them in an ABC format- with no editing! we want to assess your voicework and raw audio quality, so no effects or further editing is needed.

The main character and-- you guessed it! Operator for the virtual simulation, They remain a little skeptical, depending on how you handle dialogue; they can come off as an excited, albeit incredibly curious Crewmate!

We wouldn't be opposed to a read similar to Komaru or Makoto Naegi from the Danganronpa franchise! A main-character type all around with just a touch of naïvety!

Medium pitched, Someone who can portray just a curious main-character type without sounding flat or boring, maybe a bit wistful when talking about the curious L word? (love!) We're excited to hear your interpretation!

We're imagining someone who can come off as both kind of a nerd, while maintaining that ever-so-present shadiness the MIRA corporation is known for, Make them sound excited when describing the simulation! With all its thingy-mc-jigs!

Medium pitched, generally someone who speaks clearly though can trail off convincingly when discussing matters of possibly breaching some laws! We want an approachable, inquisitive nerd type!

We're imagining someone who can have range- Guard speaks lower in their monologues, yet their spoken dialogue is higher, so please keep this in mind while auditioning

Med - Low, a varied range in order to pull off a character who wants to appear cool in their monologues. Somewhat full of themselves, try to sound confident ; Muse like the true detective you are! A parody of a private-dick film perhaps?

Scientist is very dedicated to their role, described as caring deeply about plants and what they do. They're afraid to speak up most times, and if contradicted will simply relent and agree to whomever they are speaking to.

We're imagining someone who can give off the impression of a shy character without being too quiet! Scientist's voice in the same is spliced pretty high so we're looking to match that tone of voice with our casting.

High pitched, someone who can portray a character who is very non-confrontational. Trailing off sentences, or stopping entirely just to agree. Someone nervous and somewhat preoccupied in their own little world.

A flamboyant and self-centered streamer; They're a bit pre-occupied with their own following at the moment! They really should have streamed the autopsy-- oh, and 500 likes and they'll totally pull the plug on this patient!

We're imagining someone who can really speak like a youtuber or streamer, that peppy sort-of rehearsed voice! Pretend every interaction is one with the ominous fourth-person! Chat! Chat we caught the impostor!

Medium Pitch, A very steady and overly happy voice to the point where it's obvious they're supposed to be a streamer, flamboyance is also appreciated; just add a little pizazz! Alternatively; If you'd like to do an accent, a valley voice would be welcomed aswell.

Noted to be depressing by the Captain; Engineer is a suspicious and weary individual, people tend to avoid them; If not for their depressing nature it's for their sarcastic and sardonic quips.
FOR THIS ROLE ; We're imagining someone with a high-pitched, yet tired voice; Balancing the line that extra amount! Their voice splice is among the highest of the cast, so please keep in mind to really sell it!
VOICE DESCRIPTION High to Very High A tired, sardonic tone; think of something like Daria in terms of overall delivery. Sarcasm and quick quips are a staple of their dialogue so we really want to sell both the timing and the ''I'm SO over this!'' nature of their personality.
