Project Overview
Rantaro Amami, the Ultimate Adventurer, wakes up in a school building with 15 other Ultimate students. Monokuma, a black and white bear, appears to start a killing game. Should you rely on other people in this situation? Who are the people the audience keeps dreaming of? Find out in Alpha Danganronpa 52: The Grand Finale!
For everyone auditioning, a big warning - as this is a fanganronpa, any of these characters might once snap and become crazy or something along those lines. Anything can happen to anyone. Be prepared :D

A small thing I want to comment on is why the character art in here is inconsistent. Rantaro and Monokuma have their original sprites from the canon danganronpa games (Rantaro's is edited), Jackie's is art by her creator (shoutout to fyvraaa, they're amazing), Ketsuo, Hiromi, Aymi and Meriko have their sprites that will be used in the game (by our artist Dangan, he's amazing too) and everybody else is their designs drawn by me! The sprites for them are just simply not finished yet. If you're asking, how will everything look in the game - it's Dangan's artstyle, check the finished sprites.

Jackie acts like an energetic child - mostly always positive, a little hyperactive and gets really invested in talking about her plants - she is never a slow talker. She also has an interesting sense of justice - she would not be afraid to tell you she doesn't like somehing right in your face. Her voice is high, but not squealing level high, rather, just *not low*.
She canonically knows multiple languages, so foreign accents (especially russian, polish, german or irish) are welcome!

As a videoblogger under the name Kitsune-kun, Ketsuo is known for his cute personality and weird gimmicks. He is always positive, mostly energetic and sometimes squeals in excitement. However, sometimes some of his emotions seem to be a liiiiiiiiiittle bit fake? He probably is just used to overdoing them on camera.
Ketsuo's voice is not low, that's the only thing I have to say. Man, am I bad at explaining this stuff... Just be creative, guys!
Also, despite the game canonically happening in Japan and everyone canonically speaking Japanese (though in reality it's actually English, of course) something of a runing gag is Ketsuo actually including some Japanese phrases in his speech, so if you happen to know japanese - that's a bonus for you!

The easily exciteable positive core of the group, Meriko is always there to make sure no one gets offended and everyone is comfortable to be who they are. That, however, makes her overthink things and/or overapologize. She almost always sounds genuinely emotional, especially when trying to cheer people up.
Meriko's voice is medium to high.

Despite him technically being the token "gentle giant" of the group, I wouldn't exactly call Sedeo that. He's optimistic, surprisingly witty and knowledgeable, and most importantly - chill and patient.
His voice is medium-low, but most importantly, he speaks with a very strong accent. What accent, you might ask? That's up to you! I made the prototype of this accent visible in the script.

Aymi is the token tsundere of the cast. She only rarely speaks in the cutesy high-pitched manner you would expect after seeing her appearance - most of the time, she tries not to, because being considered equal to her peers is important to her. That's why most of the time, she speaks like anybody else would - with her medium high and even somewhat sharp voice.

Hiromi is very emotional and expressive with a tendency to overreact to things (for example, he's the kind of person who would scream after a simple "boo"). When he's not scared though, he's just another optimistic bean, who sometimes gets too into other people's hair or, more importantly, says the stupidest shit ever while sounding the most confident. His voice is once again not low.

Despite being the Ultimate Archer, Tarako isn't a quirky character whose life revolves around her talent, but rather a normal high schooler. She has an excitement for life in her, but she's not overly loud and expressive about it. Her voice is anything but low, maybe the stereotypical "normal high school girl" type.

Nori doesn't give the impression of a sly pickpocket at all - he's apologetic, kind and mostly calm. He speaks accordingly - softly and a little nervously. However, it might be good to remember that despite all that he has a leader side to him as well.

Sakeko wears trendy clothes, carries her boyfriend around and pretty much acts as a mean girl. On one hand, she's agressive most of the time, on the other hand, she is incredibly sweet when it comes to her boyfriend... or is she? Sakeko's usual voice is one of the higher ones, she speaks harshly, often uses irony or sarcasm, but sometimes just screams at people.

Yukayo is very timid and his default state is in tears. He stutters over saying seemingly simple things and usually tries not to stand out, which is a little impossible, especially due to the character of his girlfriend. However, even despite lacking in self-confidence while speaking, he usually doesn't speak before thinking. His voice has a natural elegance to it and would probably be one of the higher ones between the boys.

Izumi doesn't talk a lot, but everything she says usually hits. For example, she has a habit of suddenly saying something important quietly, but yet timing it specifically so that when she says it everyone's silent and listening to her.
I would say I can see Izumi being one of the polar opposites - highest or lowest voice and softest or sharpest voice, but that's not exactly true. I think Izumi has a naturally pretty high voice, yet when she usually speaks she lowers it on purpose, so you can rarely hear her speak too highly. She sorta jumps from one polar opposite to the other with little in between. Man, am I bad at explaining all of this.

Akihiro talks the least out of the entire cast, apparently he just dislikes social interaction? Most of the time when he speaks he's either complaining or using sentences he learned by heart to get people to leave him alone. Akihiro's voice is one of the lowest in the cast.
Also Akihiro is part chinese, so if you know even a bit of chinese that's bonus points!
Also do look up the pronounciation of his last name if you're unsure!

Taitoru doesn't remember her talent, but she doesn't seem to harbor any ill intentions though and she does have a good head on her shoulders. She's kind, but pretty shy, so she usually speaks in a soft manner and her voice is high-pitched.

To avoid any confusions: Ichiro interchangeably uses he/they
Ichiro has been gifted with the ability to tell prophecies and he acts pretty much accordingly - as a mysterious weirdo. He usually sounds somewhat detached or something like that - weird. It's also possible that you could hear him breathing while he speaks. Ichiro's voice is low and his role is where I'm gonna be the most tolerant to bad sound quality because well it's Ichiro.

Tsuki hides her name and is overall a mysterious figure. She has a lot of elegancy, maybe even some slight hints of maturity in her voice, which she can also use edgily in some of her lines. She is capable of speaking in a higher pitch, but usually is somewhere around medium high with even going lower when she's trying to scare someone. I'm so bad at describing this istg--- basically, a pretty voice with potentially big emotional expressiveness, which Tsuki always holds back with a lot of sarcasm.
Also she knows french (but isn't from France originally, so accent wouldn't be too welcome), so if you do too, you get bonus points! If you don't - please check the pronounciation of the words before trying to record your audition!
