Aliens - The Audio Drama Remake
Project Overview
Note: due to an "extended" heat wave where I live, I'm prioritizing caring for my 1 year old daughter during dangerous heat. Final casting decisions will be made once this misery has cleared up.
Now is your one and only chance to perform the iconic roles from the classic film "Aliens". We remade Alien, now it's time for Aliens.
This time... it's war! Allen Ripley survived a single Xenomorph aboard the USCSS Nostromo, but now it's 57 years later and he has returned to a world now as alien to him as the creature he defeated. His entire life is gone. His daughter never knew him. He has nothing left but the possibility for revenge. He's not going back to advise, he's going back to wipe them all out.
Now for the "lecture". Last year, this project was completely cast using this website. Everyone cast from here proceeded to accept the roles, then stopped responding to emails. Do NOT audition for this project if you intend to do the same. I'll be honest, I replaced every single actor with "A.I." voices and I can make this project without casting. But I've had people say they wanted a chance to do this and were very angry when they heard I didn't need people to do voices for it. So I'm giving this ONE LAST CHANCE, or I will in fact use artificially created voices.
This project is for fun, NOT profit. You will be paid nothing and any requests for money will lead to dismissal from the project. I've had this happen before and I won't deal with it again. I do these projects for friends, specifically people I know who are either blind or in some cases enjoy these things when they're either working or doing other things. You can use this project to promote your work and on a patreon, but you can never ask for money directly because of it. In short: Use it to promote yourselves, not get rich. I don't make money on it and neither do you. I understand everyone wants to make money off their work, but this is not the project to do it with.

Before you click away in disgust, please know I'm extremely easy to work with and I don't put my name in the credits. Also, I want nothing to do with your personal politics, social justice, current year, or anything like that. I will not change dialogue nor will I change characters for agenda driven purposes. If you have a problem with cursing, sexual innuendo, violence, and anything that's fun then this project is not for you. When I cast "Alien" a cast member made these kind of demands, and I fired them for it. They didn't ask, they demanded I change the script in multiple ways such as removing Ripley saying "baby girl" and demanded I change it to "newborn "they". Things like this I will in no way tolerate. Nor will I put anything in that panders to anyone. This project is about violence, mayhem, crude sexual innuendo and male and female marines acting like deviant lunatics.

This version of Hicks is for our male Ripley's love interest.
Dana Hicks. United States Colonial Marine corps, senior Corporal, 3rd in command, squad leader, 2nd Battalion Bravo Team. This Hicks will not be too much like the film version She and our Ripley share a mutual attraction, but things start off badly between them. In the end, there's potential for something more between them. She's a strong leader who doesn't take orders from a civilian who shouldn't be there in the first place. She also assumes the relationship with Vasquez that she had with Drake as they're now best friends forever. Hicks, Vasquez and Hudson take on more dialogue and are closer in this version.

Rebecca Jorden, AKA Newt. Six year old (of course you won't be that young) girl and last survivor of Hadley's Hope.
Our Newt will have much more to say, and will be more active. We don't expect you to imitate Carrie Henn's performance, and don't want you to. This Newt has a LOT more to say and has a lot more attitude. She's a survivor who doesn't trust anyone, least of all Ripley. The marines are too loud and will get her killed. Ripley is an asshole. But she'll come to rely on them to survive what's coming.
Because Carrie Henn had a British accent, we will also accept actresses with a British accent.

We'd better get back, 'cause it'll be dark soon, and they mostly come at night... mostly.
We had marines here too, and guess what? It didn't make any difference.
Pvt.Vasquez. In our version, there is no Drake. In order to cut down on roles and people we need, Drake had to go. She will therefore be BFF with Hicks. Role remains female only.
This Vasquez is more "hardcore" than the film version. She and Hicks are always "busting balls" with each other and are inseparable. She and Hudson have a "working" relationship. They fight together, know each other well, but are generally annoyed with each other.
