This Hicks will not be too much like the film version She and our Ripley share a mutual attraction, but things start off badly between them. In the end, there's potential for something more between them. She's a strong leader who doesn't take orders from a civilian who shouldn't be there in the first place. She also assumes the relationship with Vasquez that she had with Drake as they're now best friends forever. Hicks, Vasquez and Hudson take on more dialogue and are closer in this version.
