Alice in Wonderland AUDIOBOOK

Project Overview

My name is Gerwin Kramer, an English Literature enthusiast from the Netherlands who happens to be into animation and music. Currently I'm producing an audiobook of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, 1865.

The aim is to create a completely original and unique audiobook through the means of  a collaboration of experienced and less-experienced voice artist active in the online realm of voice acting/animation.

The final product will be available, a.o,  on YouTube, Soundcloud and booksshouldbefree.com, both as a downloadable full-length mp3 as well as separate chapters.

I have cast all the speaking parts, but I am looking for narrators! It's the reason why the project has been in a stasis for almost 4 months now. Each chapter will feature a different narrator, so you don't have to do the whole book.

The first chapter is already fully completed and you can check it out below.

I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to ask any question you have.

Kind regards,

                 Gerwin

  • CURIOUSER and curiouser!" cried Alice (she was so much surprised, that for a moment she quite forgot how to speak good English); "now I'm opening out like the largest telescope that ever was! Good-bye, feet!" (for when she looked down at her feet, they seemed to be almost out of sight, they were getting so far off). "Oh, my poor little feet, I wonder who will put on your shoes and stockings for you now, dears? I'm sure I sha'n't be able! I shall be a great deal too far off to trouble myself about you: you must manage the best way you can—but I must be kind to them," thought Alice, "or perhaps they won't walk the way I want to go! Let me see: I'll give them a new pair of boots every Christmas."

And she went on planning to herself how she would manage it. "They must go by the carrier," she thought; "and how funny it'll seem, sending presents to one's own feet! And how odd the directions will look!

  • As if I would talk on such a subject! Our family always hated cats: nasty, low, vulgar things! Don't let me hear the name again!

  • I proceed. 'Edwin and Morcar, the earls of Mercia and Northumbria, declared for him: and even Stigand, the patriotic Archbishop of Canterbury, found it advisable—

  • I shall do nothing of the sort, you insult me by talking such nonsense!
