Hello~
It's me, Desiree_Desu, back with another project! This time, I'll be doing a manga dub of Yona of the Dawn.
I will be giving a lot more leeway with this project, as I feel it is just that sort of project. I don't want it to be too closely related to the anime, as it is a MANGA dub. So feel free to give your own interpretations of any characters that you can't do an impression of.
Note: I WILL accept live auditions! If you wish to do a live audition, please message me personally, and we can work out a good time for it.
Of course, there are a few simple guidlines to follow: Be sure to read through these before considering auditioning, as they are very important. And here they are:
1. Have a good microphone. This should be a given, honestly. If you have a bad microphone, it will sound really bad in the video. I'm not asking for perfection, but please make it gentle on the ears. No buzzing, children scremaing in the background, cars, etc. You get the drill.
2. Be an actor. I know it's hard to believe, but voice actors are supposed to act. Don't read the lines like you'd rather kill yourself than be here. It's a waste of time for both me and you if you aren't interested in the project. If the character is sad, sound like you actually care. Please.
3. Be easy to work with. If you are terrible at getting along with people, then this isn't the project for you. I want to cast people that I can work with, talk with, and easily direct. Please don't make this harder than it needs to be. If you can't get along, then please don't. Save both of us the trouble.
4. Be easy to contact. I will mainly be using Skype for this project, so that I can personally direct each person thorugh a call if need be. If you are unable to do so, then I'm sure we can work around it. However, this IS the preferred method. Other things like e-mail or CCC are fine, as well. Just keep in mind that you'll be missing out on a load of opportunity to put forward your best performance possible.
5. Be commited to the project. I'm not asking for a blood oath, but I figure that if you audition for the project, then you actually care. Please do not audition if you are unwilling to turn in lines on time or stay the entire time. I'd like to keep the same actors for the entire project. And believe me, this will be a long one. I get if you have problems in life that just get in the way, but if you disappear off the face of the planet without an explanation, not only are you getting recast, but you are setting a bad example of yourself as a voice actor. Just a forewarning.
6. Always look to improve. This is a given.
7. Have fun~ I'd like for everyone to get along and possibly get to know each other. Since this will be a long-term project, It would be torture if we didn't speak at all, or hated each other. Please don't make this a torture chamber, for everyone's sake.
I have added in new roles, including female roles.
