Project Overview

"Afterburn is a Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition voice-acted series following the lives of two ShadowClan cats, Burntleg and Flamingcall. Once best friends, their bond was shattered by a devastating fire that destroyed their home and claimed the lives of those they loved. Now forced to live with the scars, both seen and unseen, they struggle to navigate a clan that is healing around them while they remain broken.

Torn between guilt, grief, and growing tension, Burntleg and Flamingcall must confront the past they shared and the future that still waits for them. Through flashbacks, fierce confrontations, and quiet moments of vulnerability, Afterburn explores how trauma lingers even after the flames die down.

This is not just a story of survival. It’s a story of what comes after."

Though his pride sometimes made him brash, he had a strong sense of loyalty and was deeply protective of those he loved, especially Runningpaw.

• Voice Type: Mid-to-high range, youthful, determined, and energetic. Should still feel like Flamingcall, just less weathered and more excitable.

He admired Flamingpaw deeply and often tried to follow his lead, though he had a softer heart and more uncertainty in his voice. Before the fire, he was innocent, a little clumsy, and full of potential.

• Voice Type: Higher range, soft-spoken, with a shy or uncertain edge. Think curious and gentle, but still with a spark of excitement when encouraged. Needs to contrast with Burntleg’s older, grittier voice.

    • Short Description: A proud, traditional warrior, Carnelianflame is the source of immense pressure in Flamingcall’s life. He believes deeply in family legacy and reputation, often to the detriment of his bond with his son. While he may think he’s guiding Flamingcall toward greatness, his strict, perfectionist parenting only drives them further apart.

    • Voice Type: Mid-to-deep range, commanding and authoritative. Should carry a sense of control, edge, and rigidity. Emotional warmth is rare and subtle.

    • Voice Type: Smooth, confident, and a bit smug. Slight sarcasm or false charm in delivery. Optional deeper tone for sleaze factor.

After the fire, he renamed Runningpaw to Burntleg and reassigned him to the elder’s den, despite the apprentice’s protests. He believes emotions should never cloud judgment and that survival often comes at the cost of sentiment. While some admire his unwavering composure, others whisper that he has no heart.

    • Voice Type: Deep and steady with a sense of absolute control. He rarely shouts, but his words always carry weight. Should be able to convey silent authority, hidden weariness, and the burden of leadership.
