After the Bell | Original YouTube Horror Mini Movie (Unpaid/For Fun Project)
Project Overview
AFTER THE BELL
· · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · ·
What is "After the Bell"? Glad you asked! It is an original mini movie which falls under the 'Horror' genre, set in a mysterious school. The story follows a teenage girl named Alyssa, who, after being rejected by every secondary school she applied to due to her poor grades, enrolls into a newly opened school that promises to accept students of all abilities as discovered in advertisements online. But upon arriving, she discovers the school is far from ordinary. Its abandoned appearance, eerie atmosphere, and strict rules soon reveal a terrifying truth: no student is ever allowed to leave. Trapped alongside a handful of other students under the watch of a mysterious, terrifying teacher, they must work together to escape the haunted school before they become its next permanent residents.
· · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · ·
This mini movie is a Halloween Special! The intended release date is October 31st, however, production will begin much earlier in order to ensure the final product is ready for its targeted release day.
· · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · ·
The mini movie itself will be made with a character creation game (Gacha Club to be specific) so I won't be drawing everything frame by frame as the game features movie making capabilities. However, I will need a team of voice actors to help me bring these characters to life, and hopefully make the mini movie more entertaining for my viewers who are always anticipating new content. I finish my projects quite fast, taking about a few weeks of constant work, so as a member of the team, you will expect the project to be finished efficiently in a way that will not disappoint in the slightest.
· · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · ·
This is a SHORT TERM project! Meaning that it will simply be a single video upload without extensive lore or anything else that isn't necessary, only expecting to last throughout September-October.
· · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · ·
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Be at least 15+ years old.
Must have Discord, as I will be inviting every cast member into a private Discord server where production will take place, for convenience and quick communication. (I will also be sharing various sneak peeks and other cool things on there).
Remember to relisten to your audition a few times before submitting.
It is encouraged to list what recording equipment (i.e microphone, software) you used for your audition.
· · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · ·
SIDE NOTES:
Before auditioning for a character, remember to read the information I wrote about them! It details their preferred voice pitch among other things like their backstory and personality. This is so I could, of course, find the right person for the job. A full body photo of each character design is featured as well, as reference if needed so you could better capture the character's energy.
You are allowed to audition for multiple characters. Though if you decide to audition for literally half of the character cast, remember to not go too overboard and drink water if necessary.
Also, this is of course, an UNPAID project. All of this is just for fun and I don't intend to be making money off of it. I don't exactly have the most freedom when it comes to spending so I have to stick to making projects unpaid. However, if you still decide to take your time to audition, I very much appreciate that!
I have a zero tolerance for AI-generated content. This includes auditions for this project and all of my projects. Please do not use AI or your submission(s) will be automatically rejected and deleted off the face of the Earth. I am able to tell when something is not human made.
· · ─ ·ʚɞ· ─ · ·
That'll be all the information you need from me. Have fun and good luck on your auditions! I absolutely can't wait to hear them and if you have any questions about the characters or the project, make sure to send me a direct message or leave a comment. Happy auditioning!

(calm, analytical) “Let's slow down. If we panic now, we're going to miss something important. Think about what we've actually observed.”
(mildly frustrated) “That's not an explanation. Saying something is impossible doesn't make it impossible.”
(serious, uneasy) “I've been keeping track of the details. The dates, the clocks, the records... none of them match. That's what worries me.”

(sarcastic, annoyed) “Oh, great. Because apparently getting trapped in a creepy old school wasn't enough. Now we're investigating it too.”
(embarrassed, defensive) “I wasn't scared! I just... wasn't expecting that, okay? There's a difference.”

(warm, encouraging) “I know things haven't been easy lately, sweetheart. But maybe this could be a fresh start. You deserve one.”
(concerned) “Alyssa, look at me. You don't have to pretend everything's okay just because you don't want me to worry.”
(emotional, reassuring) “Whatever happens, you can always come home. Nothing is ever going to change that, okay?”
