Project Overview

THANK YOU FOR AUDTIONING! Roles will not be casted till December 1st! Roles will be closed for now till then.


DISCLAIMER: If things go well, I might have something set up for the winter, (comic dubs/animatics/animation test etc). It mostly depends on how many submissions I get! ^^

What's After End?:
After End is my upcoming (hopefully) webcomic series.

Outline: Sunan is your average anti-social kid, and she likes it that way. However one thing that unites her with society is that she can see ghosts, just like everyone else. No need for a funeral when you can still talk to your loved ones beyond the grave. However, its an unspoken rule to not acknowledge it. Sunan doesn’t understand but doesn’t want to either way. As if it was fate, a certain individual meets Sunan, Maxine. Almost like a light shone in her life, a light that was too bright for Sunan to comprehend. Maxine is your average happy-go-lucky genius, a genius that made their first dumb mistake as to talk to someone like Sunan.

Audition Requirements:
- This project is rated 16+ due to some of the content in the story however you must be 18 + to audition.
-Slating is okay, I don't mind and it's not required.
-You can do up to 3 takes AAABBBCCC format but not required! 1 take is just as good, you just have the opportunity for more takes if you have more to offer for that character!

-You can audition for as many characters you want but you will only get assigned for one!

-Good microphone quality is appreciated! (USB is fine!) You are free to edit your audio to make it sound better/clearer, just not anything that will change your natural audition drastically. ( no pitch changer, voice effect, etc.)

-Feel free to link your discord account but if chosen, I will reach out to you via CCC messages for contact info anyways so don't worry!
-You can improvise one or two lines a bit. Or add a completely new one! Just make sure to do all of the ones listed minimum.

  • ROLES HAVE BEEN CASTED

    This was seriously so hard to choose, the submissions were amazing! Thank you if you have auditioned, regardless if chosen or not. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to hear all of the possibilities for my characters, it's amazing really!
    This will be the last update for this project listing, but not from me! I have other projects planned that will one day see the light of day. ^^

  • Deadline Confusion

    Hello, this is a quick minor update.

    On my end, I put the project listing to end at Nov 4 at 11pm my time, which is, as of writing this: Nov. 4 2024 - 4:00 PM. Nov 4. 11:00 pm is not until another 7 hours.

    It's possible that I put in the wrong timezone or this is just a glitch in the system (on my end possibly). However, I want it to end exactly at the time I intended it to end, so I had to make adjustments to match with the time that SHOULD be left until deadline.
    However much time is LEFT is correct to the true intended deadline. I apologize if this caused confusion. If there is still a mistake, let me know ASAP. The project closes at November 4, 2024 at 11 PM (GMT-8).

    Thanks again to those have audtioned, and thank you to any of those who are planning to in the next few hours. Till next FOR REALS final update!

  • THANK YOU! + LAST UPDATE

    Hello! Thank you for 100+ submissions! I am so grateful and happy to have this many people take interest! I am extending the deadline by 2 days, not a huge difference!

    As stated this is going to be LAST update till casting. (When casting is out, that is the final update for this project)

    To go more indepth with my process: I will close the roles after the deadline has hit. Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.

    Nov. 4th: Deadline to submit auditions. Roles will be marked as closed.
    December. 1st: Roles will be casted respectively.
    December. 2nd - 7th: Contact with cast. Production starts.

    It's a bit cruel to set out casting a month after the deadline, I know! Please understand that November is a busy month for me, and I would rather keep the project listing for at most a month + few days.

    I also want to use November to plan more projects to put up and as well as continuing production with my comic series. AS WELL as setting up things for THIS project. Plus, I have school to deal with! ^^;

  • Character Role Closed: Leola

    I have decided to close Leola.
    First and foremost, I want to say thank you to all of the amazing voice actors that have taken the time out of their day to auditioned for her. I've enjoyed listening to all of the submissions! This was a hard decision.

    The reason why I am closing Leola can not be disclosed as of now. It is entirely on me for not considering this factor that is more crucial than I thought more sooner.

    If you have auditioned for Leola, thank you again, and feel free to audition for other avalible characters, or not. Entirely up to you!

    1k project views! Thats crazy numbers to me! Thank you to all of you who audition or even just glanced at the project. I love hearing all the submissions! It's going to be difficult to narrow it down! ^^

    However, PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS! Especially the age requirement. I will dismiss you immediately if you are NOT 18 or older.

    Also here is the process I will be doing when picking for the roles:
    I am actively short-listing some submissions to narrow down to the ones that I think fit the most. After the deadline hits, I will finalize to one from the ones I have shortlisted.
