Role assigned to: KiwiTheDemon

A legendary ancient Japanese prince whose story is told in the KojikiWP and Nihon ShokiWP. He has sometimes been called "Japan's King Arthur" due to similarities in their legends.

Takeru is the child of Emperor KeikōWP, ruler of the Yamato in the late first century and early second century. His birth name was Prince Ousu (小碓命?). After he slew his brother Prince Ōusu (大碓皇子?), he was sent away because his father feared his bloodthirst. Ordered by the Emperor to kill those who refused to submit to Yamato rule, he was given the sword Amenomurakumo-no-Tsurugi, which had long ago been retrieved from the monster Yamata-no-Orochi by the god Susanoo-no-Mikoto. One of the enemies he defeated gave him the name Yamato Takeru, meaning "the Brave of Yamato".

Takeru killed men and gods in his adventures. In one famous tale, Takeru dressed as a woman to infiltrate a party before killing everyone there. In another story, he used Amenomurakumo-no-Tsurugi to create powerful gusts of wind and put out a fire in a field. Takeru lost his beloved wife Ototachibana-hime on the night of a storm, when she sacrificed herself to quell the rage of a sea God.

Outcast by their family, friendless, and bereft of their beloved wife, Takeru slaughtered people, kings, and even gods as they continued along their path.[4]

At the end of their life, Yamato Takeru died from poison after battling the god of Mt. Ibuki. Their sword Amenomurakumo, eventually renamed Kusanagi, would go on to become one of Japan's three imperial treasures.

After their long journey of conquest, their loneliness growing with each battle, Yamato Takeru's spirit became a white swan soaring through the heavens.[4]

Personality:
Yamato Takeru in the Fate series (primarily as the Saber-class Servant in Fate/Samurai Remnant and Fate/Grand Order) is a powerful, tragic hero characterized by a blend of dignified nobility, combat genius, and surprising cuteness [1, 2, 3].

Personality

  • Combat Genius yet Naive: They possess combat power far beyond human limits but exhibit a "Saberface" persona that alternates between intense pride and moments of bashfulness. [1, 2, 3]

  • Androgynous & Unbothered: Takeru's true gender is canonically left ambiguous (never corrected). People often mistake them for a woman, which they do not mind, as they used cross-dressing as a tactical advantage in myths. [1, 2, 3]

  • Affection for Peace: They express a deep appreciation for the peaceful streets of Edo, finding profound joy in everyday things like delicious rice, which they view as a laudable symbol of peace. [1, 2]

  • Growth: Initially, Takeru acts proud and distant, often regarding their Master (Miyamoto Iori) as a "powerless weakling," but their shared conflicts lead to a deeply changed and respectful partnership.

(You can be a femboy too.)

Role assigned to: Burner

A general from China's Eastern Han dynasty. The Servant Zhou Yu is a mix of both the historical person and the fictional version from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms story, though his mind is based more on the historical one. As such, he feels like his Servant abilities associated with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms are a bit overpowered and given to him for no reason, though he doesn't reject them.[1]

He was a loyal vassal to the Sun family for three generations, and was notably close to his brother-in-law Sun Ce, the "Little Conqueror". At the Battle of Red CliffsWP Zhou Yu led the Sun forces to victory against Cao Cao's naval fleet. However he died young of illness and was unable to see the establishment of the Wu Empire.[2]

Personality:
In the Fate series (specifically Fate/Samurai Remnant), Zhou Yu is summoned as an Archer-class Servant. He is characterized as a brilliantly calm, rational, and loyal tactician [1]. Driven by deep devotion to his homeland and sworn brothers, he notably possesses a comical distaste for his exaggerated, jealous portrayal in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Personality and Traits

  • Calm and Rational: He acts as a wise expert in strategy, capable of seeing through enemy ploys and navigating tricky warfare. [1]

  • Selfless and Caring: Far from the petty rival often depicted in fiction, his Fate iteration views him as a faithful warrior who takes on heavy burdens to protect those around him, embodying a "protective older brother" figure. [1, 2]

  • Fourth-Wall Irritation: He openly expresses frustration with how modern pop culture/folklore (namely Romance of the Three Kingdoms) bastardized his image by making him a bitter, jealous rival to Zhuge Liang.

  • Good grief...

  • We could refuse to participate, like caster's group did.

  • I, of course, have no objections. As your servant, your wish is my command.

A man who is said to have helped compile the ancient Japanese record called the KojikiWP. Due to his extraordinary memory, he was tasked by O-no-YasumaroWP to memorize various literary texts which would be compiled into the Kojiki. However, he is a figure largely shrouded in mystery. It is not known for certain whether he was a man or woman, or even if he really existed at all.[2]

Voice:
https://youtu.be/aOgDbxFRrPs?si=Y05J08wdlvTZ5J_m (At 2:46 he begins to talk)

Personality:
Are gives an obstinate, nitpicky, and unreasonable impression. He is not an author, so he insists that his writings should be called "records" instead of literature. His wish for the Waxing Moon Ritual is that all records in the world are perfectly preserved and accurate ("accurate" being defined by him). Doing so would mean confirming that he really existed.[1] Although he acknowledges the effect Mystery has on reality, he believes things of mystery such as Demons, Gods, Dragons, Magecraft, Heroic Spirits, and Noble Phantasms are "illusions" and merely fantasies created and made manifest by human imagination. In other words, he believes Mystery does not exist in the human world and that such things are only myth, and states that his wish for the Waxing Moon will cause the erasure of Mystery and have all things related to Mystery be no longer able to exist by proving them as lies.[3]

His obsession with recording various phenomena, as well as his preoccupation with memory, may have been born out of a desire to find proof of his own unsubstantiated existence.[2]

Although his class is Caster, he prefers to be called "Recorder".[1]

Minamoto-no-Raikou summoned as a teenager, the time of her life when she was a monster. The period where she was a guardian of the human realm and weapon of apparition slaughter devised by her father Minamoto no Mitsunaka, before she had any of the emotions of a human girl. In this state, her True Name is Ushi Gozen.

She answered her Master's summons due to her doubts and empathy concerning the distortions in the world that arise from her non-human nature taking on a human form. Unfortunately, her quest for answers led her to a single, tragic solution: destruction. Regardless of how many times she is summoned, her resolve remains unwavering.[2]

(Without armored): https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Sub:Ushi_Gozen/Dialogue

Personality:
Ushi Gozen—the true, demonic true form of Minamoto-no-Raikou—is a ruthless, divine entity [1]. Driven by an obsession with order and perfection, she seeks to "fix" a flawed world through ultimate destruction, contrasting sharply with Raikou's maternal and protective nature.

Her personality splits between two distinct states:

  • The Impersonator: Initially, she pretends to be Raikou, serving her Master with cold, ruthless devotion. She shows a bizarre form of sympathy for outcasts and strange beings, often viewing them similarly to her own monstrous nature. [1, 2]

  • The True Self: When her mask drops, she descends into madness. She demands worship, breaks into manic laughter, and acts as a wrathful, uncompromising force of nature with no concept of human morality. [1, 2]

Role assigned to: LoganTheVA

The ancestor of Mochizuki Chiyome and a Japanese figure who Shuten-douji greatly dislikes. He is associated with the god TakeminakataWP of Suwa Grand ShrineWP.[3]

Detailed in the Suwa EngiWP, Yamata-no-Orochi placed a curse on Koga Saburo after Saburo committed the crime of trespassing on Mount IbukiWP and destroying a serpent's nest, passed down in the Koga Mochizuki bloodline.[4][5] He was cursed by the god of Mount Ibuki, Yamata-no-Orochi, and traveled through the underworld beneath the mountain, eventually returning to the surface as a demon.[6] Ibuki-douji was the one who rescued him and returned him to the human realm, and he refers to her as his elder sister because they are both connected to Yamata-no-Orochi.

Voice:

Personality:
Assassin likes his Master Dorothea. He sees his younger self in her. He often complements Dorothea's ability, though Dorothea admits that he sometimes overestimates her.[1]He claims to have trouble understanding Western customs, often addressing Dorothea as princess despite being instructed to call her a lady. He is curt, arrogant and condescending in battle, gleefully laughing while attacking and appears to take pride in the power he is granted.

Attributed to his divine nature, Assassin has a fickle side to him, which led to him choosing to be controlled by Tsuchimikado Yasuhiro's spell so as to impose a trial on his Master.

Assassin shows a great deal of respect and fear to Ibuki Douji, who saved his life, taking her apparently playful comments as serious threats.
