Across The Globe: Halloween Fright
Project Overview
This is an extravagant, spooky, adventurous Halloween special. It’s going to be a longer episode with a wider scale. Creatures with growling voices and mystic magic will stand in the way of Dalton and his new ally – Ms. Frankenstein on his quest to put Witch Greaves back in her grave. To kill the monsters, they’ll need Van Helsing’s Six Shooter (The Tooth), The soulless voodoo doll (The Balde), The Eternal Mirror (The Skull), and an injection on Lot X-127 (The Gills) – Each of these quests will challenge Ms. Frankenstein in some way with her relationship with her father, confidence, or scientific knowledge.

Ms. Frankenstein is the daughter of the mad Dr. Frankenstein. She's smart in chemistry, technology, and magic. But, since her father has always been so wrapped up in his experiments, she's always been a little alone. So now, getting into her mid-20s, she's guarded and irreverent to protect how hurt she is. In the Halloween Special, she'll overcome this flaw and rediscover her humanity.

You may think you are smart, Dalton. But the occult is not grounded in the science of the mind. It is grounded in the science of one’s spirit.
Um, Dad. Hi. It’s your other creation. Just stopping by to say hello.
The obvious answer would be Bromine, Hydrogen, and Potassium. You would need a catalyst to balance the protons thought. Wait. That’s it. A catalyst to balance the protons!
Mother Greaves is an evil ancient witch. She's deeply vengeful as she was burned during the final days of the Salem Witch Trials. Now, Dalton and Gregory have accidently awakened her. She's short tempered, deceitful, and powerful. Throughout the story, she has four heralds who fight her battles so she hides behind them and feels most confident when they're defending her.

Who dares to awaken, Mother Greaves!...I said who dares to awaken, Mother Greaves!?
Heed this warning, boy. Give that crest to me or I will unleash a plague upon this earth. An unstoppable plague!
Dalton Globe. So kind of you to come to me for you’re death. It saves me the trouble of hunting you down.
Gibson is the zombie librarian storyteller host of the Halloween fight episode. He's deeply devoted to his wife, Edith, even though they bicker a lot. In between scenes he'll bridge the story with some commentary and fun banter.

Hello there. You. Yes. You. I’m not speaking to a character in the show. I’m talking to you the one thinking, “Is he actually speaking to me?”. I am speaking to you. My name is Gibson Tombstone. I am a....Well, there isn’t really a name for what I am. Story keeper. Narrative guardian....
Apologies all. Forgive me. You came here for fear. Adventure. Suspense. Not to hear me and my dear dead beloved life bicker.
And so our trio of....heroes....I guess...raced across fields and forests to the land of Castle Bolton with little knowledge of the danger that awaited them there!
Edith is the quick witted and snarky but devoted wife of Gibson. She has a squeaky, chipper voice which is a little scratchy. She interrupts his story to ask questions or suggest improvements, much to Gibson's dismay. But despite the bickering, they have a deep love for each other and in the end, they're happily married and undead.

I try to tell ya. You’re scratching the records. But, you never seem to listen. It’s like you forgot to sew your ears back on this morning.
Well how’s he supposed to beat all those monsters! He’s just a...treasure hunter....guy and they all can tear him limb for limb with ease.
Oh, wow. I...uh...I got chills. And I like that Ms. Frankenstein. She’s snarky.
This version of Frankenstein is a mad doctor. He's hyper obsessed with his experiments and constantly pushes the boundaries of what science can do. But, his obsession has lead him to neglect his daughter - a detail he doesn't realize. So, while he's toiling away in his lab with his creation - he doesn't pay much mind to his human daughter.
Hmmmmm. No. No. No. That’s no good. No good at all. My creation, raise the power output to 4,500 Kilowatts!
Get back! I told you - no touching! No touching my experiments! Out! Out with you! Leave me be you little troublemaker!
Now to clean up the mess you made. But first, creation. Where is the socket wrench. I want to see how much this cyborg otter can bench press. And NO! I haven’t been feeding it steroids again! He’s natural!
In this world, Van Helsing has passed on. He now dwells in 'The Graveyard' as a ghost. He has a level and wise voice. He's seasoned from a lifetime of monster hunting and now holds that knowledge for those who need it most. In the story, he offers his six shooter to Dalton after the group convinces him they're worthy.

How do I know that you’re capable of winning a battle against The Tooth? No beast is as deadly as that man-wolf.
Then you better not miss. Good luck, Dalton Globe.
Being a ghost gives you...perspective. I can see the unseen and I can see your fear. A great deal of fear festers in you, Gregory. Monsters and occult. Maybe that you aren’t enough to beat them? And in you, Ms. Frankenstein, that your father, the mad doctor, will never acknowledge you, perhaps? And you Dalton Globe....Heights? How odd.
The Mother is the mother of The Blade - a slasher. She is deeply wounded since her son caused the camp to close when he started terrorizing the campers. She's bitter but sincere. Her voice is a shaky and old but with heart behind it.

Who goes there?!
What makes you think I want him returned to me? That boy is nothing but trouble! Trouble I tell you.
Go then. Take his voodoo doll. Banish my son back to me. Maybe one day we can turn this camp back to a joyful place like it once was.
The male and female ghosts are taunting evil spirits. They are trying to get Gregory to show fear because if he does they can feed off of it and tear him apart. They should be ghostly, confident, and almost playful in their teasing.

Young blooded by the looks of him.
Your mantle? No. It should go above the door in the foyer.
Don’t do it, boy. Don’t you touch that mirror.
