【Abyss】Original Virtual Idol Group
Project Overview
Hello you ! Welcome to the Abyss Casting Call !
Before we talk about the different roles, let me introduce to you our project :

So... What is Abyss ?
Abyss is a comical original virtual Idol group composed of 6 members.
The main theme of the group is gaming. This group follows the story of 6 NEETS between 18 to 25 years old who wants to become better people by becoming idols.
Akua, the leader of the group created Abyss in order to follow her dreams and become an Idol, like the ones she sees in her favorite gacha games on her phone.
She then proceeds to persuade different people to join her group, and some interested people even joined by themselves after hearing about the project.
The girls are separated into 2 Subunit groups :
『Ribbon❀Dancing』 and 『The⋈Edge』
What kind of music will Abyss produce ?
Abyss will have a wide option of genre to produce, but their main style will be JPOP/JROCK style music. In each original release, the songs are going to be available in japanese as well as in english and hopefully on every streaming plateforms.

How do I Audition on CCC ?

We're currently in need of A LOT of staff member, such as Artists, Mixers, Composers, Video editors or animators ( Motion Graphic and typography, using After Effect frequently ). Or even translators from english to japanese, as well as translyricists for our original songs.
We are also having our auditions open for the main cast, but I will not cast any girls until further notice ( We need our debut single to be ready first).

- We are currently composing our debut single.
- I will not cast anyone until further notice, but you can still audition ! The sooner the better.

So how do I audition ? - I will need 3 elements into one audio file. :
- 1. Present yourself, and tell us why do you want to audition for this project.
- 2. A japanese and english sample of your singing with at least one raw sample to check the quality of your microphone.

3. Voice act the lines provided for the girl you want to audition as ! - (even if you're a beginner in voice acting, it doesn't mean it's not ok to try ! We will definitely improve constantly while working together so do your best and it'll show ! )

- - Please have a good microphone, we won't be able to work with you if you do not have a good quality microphone.

Yuna is gentle and reserved.
She spends most of her time playing horror games.
On the one hand, horror games has never scared her, in fact she finds them funny.
On the other hand, she gets irrationally frightened by other people.
In fact, she feels forced to wear blurred sunglasses each time she goes out so she can't really see the faces around her.
Akua persuaded her to join Abyss in order to overcome her fears.

Type of voice :
She will have a rather medium pitched voice. Higher pitch whenever she feels scared.
She needs to sound good-willed but very skeptical,

She will eventually make weird short sound when she’s scared, which will come out naturally.

Aestya is a smart, gentle girl.
She’s very quiet and timid at first, but gets overly excited when she speaks about her favorite Visual Novels.
One of her biggest secrets : Runs a very famous Wattpatt account, with some quite interesting content.
Aestya isn't good at social cues, or speaking in front of large crowds.
Akua found out about her secret identity online as the famous Wattpatt writer, and kept disturbing her in private messages in order to join the group.
After a while, Aestya eventually grew to like the idol life as a whole and does her best at it.

Type of voice :
Joyful, rather high pitched voice.
She needs to sound very supportive and enthusiastic. Stutters a bit.

Noriko always speaks her mind, can be passive aggressive at times, deeply honest and tries her best anytime.
Noriko is mature and straightforward, has a hard time showing affection but we can see through her that she deeply cares about her friends.
She's one of the best FPS player in the world and never vents about it.
Spends most of her time either watching streamers online or playing by herself. Noriko being a tsundere, she joined the group by herself but keeps denying that fact each time she gets asked about it.

Type of voice : Mature voice, deep.
She needs to sound mature-like,showing a lot of interest to what she’s saying (she’s a bad liar). Stutters while flustered.

Fuuka is very upbeat and bubbly, she's overly excited for the smallest thing and never hides anything from her friends,
except one thing : Her favorite type of games.
She claims being a "fellow gamer" and relates to a lot of what the other members say but constantly tries to change the subject or avoid any questions related to her favorite game genre.
Fuuka can have a mature side when needed, and wants to do her best in her idol life.
She even has a signature way of saying her name, which makes her overly cute. But deep down we know that this is indeed an act.
Fuuka joined Abyss by herself after hearing about it from Akua. She seems very biased on what the fans want from idols and can sometimes propose "weird" ideas.

She needs to sound OVERLY cute.Sometimes exaggerate her way of saying things. Her tone gets deeper when she’s serious.

Rei is smuggy and mostly egotistic.
She often lies about her age as well as her name and pass as a teenager so she can irritate others even more while bragging about being the number one Esu! player in the world.
Rei describe herself as a dignified being, from a very wealthy and proud family, her name is apparently Ophelia.
When in fact, she's just as rich as the other members, which means not rich at all and is actually not from europe.
Rei was a bit jealous of Fuuka's cuteness, so she joined at first to compete her at being the best idol, but after a while she quickly realized it was not that important, and loved being an idol, and loving herself for her first.

She needs to sound dramatic and forcedly royal.Gives a lot of order and treats other as her servant, smuggish and tries to sound cute but still sounds mean while doing it. Deeper voice when angry.
