Abnormal // Minecraft Cinematic Roleplay
Project Overview
Hi there I'm Drizzy, I'm 17 years old and Welcome to my casting call for my newest minecraft cinematic roleplay 'Abnormal' ! I have recently started to create a roleplay for a minecraft roleplay inspired by a few different ideas. The first idea being the movie-series 'Divergent' because of the 5 divisions and then all to do with the eco-fail with a medieval type twist on the future. I look forward to seeing the auditions!
About the Roleplay:
'Abnormal' is about 5 best friends all from different divisions in a kingdom called Elysia (pronounced E-lee-sia) and their journey into their new lives after the division sorting. River, the main character, is sorted into the royals and the protectors of Elysia because of his unique traits. The five divisions consist of Fragment; this division is the farmers, weaponsmiths, etc. but also has all the people with unique traits hidden amongst them, Defiant; this division is the warrior division, Nexus; this division is the wizards and the librarians, Avalon; this division is the royals. The final division is the Umbra division and this division is the division containing all of the evil that threatened Elysia that have been banished to the new Umbra division away from Elysia. The Umbra division's leader, Venus, get's jealous of the Avalon division so causes a war between the divisions in attempt to gain power over all of Elysia. However, the other 4 divisions join forces and take down Umbra which is how they were banished to the new Umbra division where they have to fend for themselves but the Umbra division's story doesn't stop there. There's a prophecy about the 4 elements; Earth, Water, Fire and Air joining together creating the Space element, the elements being Ember (Earth), Tierra (Water), Flint (Fire), Wren (Air) and River (Space). The prophecy states that a great evil will arrive to destroy the space element once the space element is crowned. However, the space element is able to defeat the evil when all 5 elements join together and fight the evil in yet another war.

Wren is the twin brother to Ember and is a member of the Nexus division. He's a very loveable character but he is quite clumsy and is in his own world most of the time. However, he is contained with a lot of knowledge so he does tend to get overwhelmed with his knowledge as he is one of the smartest characters.
Voice Range: Medium/ Low
WREN: *embarrased* ha ha... oops. Anyway, shall we get going? We're gonna miss it!
WREN: River's gifts are a mix of each gift, therefore that makes him the space element. Right?
WREN: Hey dad, did you hear? River's a prince now!
Flint is a member of the Defiant division. He's a typical smug- teen boy however he definitely has a soft side that he isn't a fraid to show. He likes to joke around but he actually has a sense of urgency and has a plan for himself. He is quite confident in what he says and likes to make sure people know that.
Voice Range: Medium/ Low
FLINT: *confident* I'm pretty chill. I know that whatever happens means that I get to be on my own.
FLINT: Hey, no one deserves to be a royal more than you River. Right, Tierra?
FLINT: *bluntly* Yes, that's exactly what he's saying.
FLINT: Hey Mr, W. When did you get the new sign on the shop? I like it!
Lark is the Queen of Elysia and is also Tierra's older sister. She is a very sophisticated and mature woman and knows exactly how to be a leader. She's a very kind and friendly person but when it comes to conflict she can have an aggressive side.
Voice Range: High-Medium/ Low-Medium
LARK: Welcome young division members. Today is the day your future begins!
*crowd cheers*
LARK cont'd: Once the sorting has begun, please remain seated until your name has been called. If you are unhappy in your division please come and see me and we can arrange for you to be placed back into your home division until the next sorting ceremony. Now, let's make your future's become more clear and let the sorting cermeony begin!
LARK: *smug giggle* Yes River, prince. You have gifts no one else has which automatically makes you royalty. Your job is to guide and protect the people of Elysia (pronounced E-lee-sia), and I am here to help you.
Heron is the leader of the Fragment division and River's Father. He is a comforting character for River and also offers great advice, He is a treasured person in Elysia because of his gifts.
Voice Range: Low / Low Medium
HERON: This is it son, your turn for the division sorting. How do you feel?
HERON: *comforting* You'll be completely fine! and hey, if you get put into a differen't division, it'll be okay. You can still come visit whenever you want to and you can always ask to move back.
HERON: *to himself* You can always come back. but you won't. *giggles under his breath*
Venus is the leader of the Umbra division. They are the villain / enemy. They are a very sinister person and talk like a typical villain. They have a very short temper and lash out a lot.
Voice Range: Low/ Medium
(Gender will depend on who is cast so the skin could potentially change)
VENUS: *angry* UGHHH! I need to get back into Elysia (pronounced E-lee-sia) NOW!
VENUS: *angry* well find a way dimwit! *sinister* I need to make sure that prophecy doesn't come true even if that means killing the boy!
VENUS: *angry* Move!... *sinister* People of Umbra! I am rewarding the first person who can get me into Elysia without detection. Those who are caught, will be brought to me immediately and will be slaughtered! *sinister giggle* *angry* You... Come here!... This gentlemen was caught trying to escape Umbra. *sinister sarcasm* Do you know what we do with people that try to escape? WE KILL THEM! *evil laugh*
Severn is a member of the Nexus division and the father to Ember and Wren. He is the temporary leader of the Nexus division as he is a natural leader. He owns Elysia's apothecary and is a wizard. He believes in what he thinks is right and will make sure that he can guide anyone he needs to in the right direction. He is quite a cheery person and usually has people go to him for advice on magical things.
Voice Range: Low/ Low Medium
SEVERN: *proud* Why thank you Flint! I had it made this morning
SEVERN: *giggles* Yes, I did hear. Congratulations River, or should I say... your majesty. Your mother would be very proud.
Phoenix is a member of the Umbra division. She is Venus' servant. She is quite manipulative but also can be quite clumsy. She is very sly and is quite creepy.
Voice Range: Any
PHOENIX: *scared but firm* Your Majesty, how will you do that?
PHOENIX: Maybe one of the RATS amongst Umbra knows a way!
PHOENIX: Maybe you're right. Time to put the useless miseries to some use *evil giggle*
Gale is a front line warrior from the Defiant division and is Flint's mother. She is very brave and tend to have people scared to get on her bad side. She is a natural leader. She is generally a friendly person but can get aggressive. She can also get insensitive at times.
Voice Range: Medium/Low
GALE: Listen up new recruits! Welcome to the Defiant division! Here your journey to protect Elysia (pronounce E-lee-sia) begins! Any questions?...No? Good. Let's get started.
GALE: Flint, what do you call that? Put some effort into it.
FLINT: I'm trying mom.
GALE: Well try harder. And here, you address me as Gale, not mom. We don't want relationships getting in the way of training
GALE: What was that today? How dare you speak to your mother like that!
FLINT: *sarcastic* I was talking to Gale, not my mom. Remember?
GALE: Flint, I'm doing it to protect you.
FLINT: *angry* Protect me from what? Having you tell me i'm doing everything wrong?
GALE: *angry* Protect you from being hurt! If god forbid something was to happen to me out there, I can't protect you any longer.
I will be needing a few extra's so please audition!
