Introduction:
Hi! I’m Yuni. I’m the creator of A Tale About Karma. This project originally started as a written poetry that I had sent to a friend. Who later came up with the idea to help me create mini concept arts to present as a fun little project. but I digress. I am happy and excited to provide details and exclusive content on the project development to bring a comfortable side of the internet people can be comfortable with. With My Two Co-Creators: JawsJordy and Atticus, we plan to turn this passion project into something real and beautiful.
Series Premise:
A Tale about Karma is a story centered around 3 siblings: Jay King and Yami who are the children of The King of the Noid. After he goes missing due to unknown circumstances his home; The Noid Falls into anarchy and rebellion against the royal family causing a rift between the monarchs and the Noid-folk as he grows up. Determined to find his father and bring balance back to the monarchy, Jay ventures to take action to bring equality and peace between the kingdom and the realms with his brothers Yami and King by his side to help make it happen along with assistance of their friend/adopted sister Courtney. But with high-ranking members of the family watching him and the people's mistrust of authority, the 4 must learn that leadership does not stop or end at a simple crown.
Pilot Overview:
When the Previous king disappears from unknown circumstances, Jay Serino the oldest brother must fill the void left in by his father and start his path as the new Prince of the Noid. Followed by his two younger brothers King & Yami, His Mother and The Queen Lyria and Their Human Adopted Sister Courtney Jay Must Prove to his immortal royal family that he can fulfill the role his father left behind and bring order & authority to fearful world who fears and hates the monarchy.

Due to the fact that many of us in the team are adults with each to our own complex lifestyle, the main plan for us right now is hiring skilled individuals who we can work with and make progress despite possible work life conflicts especially considering we are volunteer work as of right now. We are currently in the pre-production phase of our project as we have already written and finalized the pilot script along with future comic scripts and ideas for other projects, along with a team of solid artists who have helped create an artstyle and training course for people.

Must be 17+
Communicate with staff to maintain a schedule and to let us know if your situation causes issues with the project.

Expectations:
The Main Expectations for joining the project is COMMUNICATION AND ACTIVITY. We want people to be able to tell us their schedule and how much they are willing to work on the project as of current. Any changes or updates correlating to this process is GREATLY Appreciated. Along with that please be active within the team and do the work assigned and obligated towards your role, do not take up the role if you are unable or refuse to do the work when someone else more willing and passionate could.
Other than that, we expect people to be willing to work on it and be consistent with what schedule is handed to you, and if any problems arise within that area, please communicate with us, your team and project managers to help us work something out with you.
At the end of the day, we simply want to put out a great passion project that could become a series one day and if not something to show the world and the people who worked on it that we have skills to share and something to expand on our portfolios.

Animator
Your job is to make animate/clean up the storyboards and animatics provided to you by the team.
This means using the script and/or audio to make a "sketch" for the visuals.
For this job, you will need a good understanding of how to translate the script into visual storytelling, via camera angles, framing, clarity of action, and perspective.
Your animation will then be passed along to another part of the team to continue the process who will polish the movement, also it's good to write notes to help them understand your vision!

After examining your application, you will be messaged in the discord and moved to DMs, where your audition will be
For the audition part, you are provided with apart from a script, key art for the characters in it, as well as the location/layout.
Your test will be to turn that script into a 10-20 second animatic/storyboard.
If the quality of work is satisfactory, you will be welcomed into the team.

In this Role you will be assisting animators/storyboarders in cleaning up and optimizing their animation through the finished product along with any other assistance towards the goal of finishing a project
