A Fated Skirmish of Brothers - OC Fight Scene ANIMATION

Hello! My name is Eily Jacobs, and I'm looking for a few voices for a new project of mine.

I am a teen creator who makes various stories and characters, and I hope to some day open a studio of mine and turn one of my main stories/a book series I have written into an American-anime-styled animated series. This being my main goal in my future career, I'm trying my best to practice animation and I am working hard to get into the college of my dreams to be able to turn my vision into a reality.

As a form of practice and something I may be able to put in a portfolio, I am challenging myself to fully direct and animate an entire fight scene in 1 week, starting this coming Monday on November 23rd. The scene will last up to around three minutes long and will feature two of the characters I've created, South and Gemma. I am looking for two voice actors to play these characters and give me lines as soon as possible so I can begin working on this project and hopefully finish by my intended deadline of one week. If you'd like to help out, please consider auditioning! I have experience in directing and audio editing already as I am currently in the makes of a big project of mine, Aptitude Lo, which is still in the animation and production stage. This is an unpaid project, as well. Though the voice actors will obviously be credited and recognized, no money will be involved. 

STORY:

South and North were once twins, human brothers. After their father, a star from the constellation Corona Borealis embodied as a person on Earth, was killed by another star for leaving the sky, the two brothers were given the opportunity to become stars in the sky, powerful beings, and take their father's place by taking their own lives and gaining new life as a star. North, wanting this new sense of power, took his own life and was reborn as a star. However, South had no intentions of living as a celestial body and instead wanted to live as a human, denying the offer. Outraged at his brother's decision, North, now going by his new title, Gemma of Corona Borealis, took it upon himself to revisit his brother on Earth, now changed in appearance and intent, and force him to become a star. He now wears the necklace that every other star on Earth wears, a glowing ball of light hanging from their neck that houses the remains of their star and their life overall. After a heated argument and various threats being thrown in a subway, Gemma pushes his brother in front of an oncoming train and kills him, forcing him to take the place of a star from Corona Australis, Meridiana. Years later, South and lots of other stars from the sky rebel against the other stars in hopes of becoming human, causing a war to erupt on Earth between these powerful beings. He leads the rebellion, while his brother leads the loyal side.

The animated scene begins after Gemma has captured South in the war and is confronting him in the room he is locked in. After wanting to take South's necklace to keep him from being able to use his power and escape, South retaliates by putting up a fight. The two brothers quickly break out into a full-fledged powerful sword fight in the small room. Gemma comes out to be the winner, injuring South and forcefully taking his necklace from him. He finally leaves the dark room, leaving his bleeding, now-weakened brother alone to suffer.

PRODUCTION:

If not too much to ask for, I hope to have the scripts given out and the lines returned to me no later than two days after casting. This is going to be a VERY quick project. I hope to cast the voice actors by Monday, give the scripts out that day, and have the lines turned in hopefully by the end of that day or Tuesday. Monday will be mainly audio editing and the beginning animatic. Tuesday will be finishing a more detailed animatic and background and any other needed additions. Wednesday will completing line art. Thursday will be coloring, shading, and lighting, Friday will be more detail and finalizing audio and camera panning, and then that Saturday morning will be either a bleed-over day or any other details I need to finish before finalizing it and uploading it as well as any other free time I may have on Sunday.

Once casted, I will message both the voice actors in a group chat on Discord and send out the script immediately. I should be available to give audible direction if needed. Along with the lines, I will need some extra effort noises and action sounds for the fighting, based on the voice actor's own interpretation of the scene. Once the project is finished, I'll be sure to share it with the voice actors first before uploading it to YouTube and Twitter.

This will be animated using Clip Studio EX. The audio will be put together with KineMaster before being transferred to Clip Studio for animation and adjustment, and effects will be pulled off of royalty-free YouTube audios or from SoundBible.

AUDITIONS:

When auditioning, I ask that you please include your Discord in the description of your audition! If casted, I will message you immediately so we can begin working a bit on lines and hopefully get those in as soon as possible. In the character description, I will include voice descriptions and references to make your audition a little easier! You should also be able to make effort noises and fighting sounds for the fighting portion of the scene. Also, please have a clear microphone! I want this to come out as the best quality I can make it with your help! Make sure to follow the lines, and feel free to give multiple takes on a line if needed! Have fun, and good luck auditioning!
