Horde of Heroes is a webcomic by the artist and musician Gooseworx. The first chapter was published in the beginning of 2019.

  • Today is the deadline, all roles being filled.

    Thank you for following along on this project, sending your auditions, and resubmissions, and sharing it with others. I'm satisfied with the results, and I can't wait to show off the results. We will enter the production phase soon, and it should be vastly shortened as I edited much of the video portion in advance of casting.   • Deadline this Weekend (still looking for a Diem & Cici)

    I've found a good cast selection for all but two characters. Auditions will close mid-day Sunday, but late submissions will be acceptable for Diem and Cici. Goosworx found out about this project in March, and I'm glad to have been in contact with her to know she's excited about this project, and has listened to some of your submissions herself.

  • Final Week of Auditions - Ends Sunday

    I still need auditions for Diem and Wyka. I extended the deadline from Friday, to Sunday. Gooseworx, the artist who made this comic, knows about this project and is very excited about it. She especially likes the descriptions of the characters :>

  • Auditions Have Been Formally Re-Opened

    I'm specifically looking to fill the roles of Geno, Diem, Wyka, and Cici. You are free to submit auditions for other characters, but your submission will have to improve on the previous auditions for those. The process for this project is: Edit most of the comic first, then cast while finishing off the comic .The reason for closing auditions, and re-opening them later, was so I could do one round of casting when I was 40% done, and then do a second round at 70%. (Its a 100+ page comic) I should be 80%+ finished when the final casting period is over, and with this schedule, the casted VAs will have a shortened waiting time before seeing the results of their work. Valry is the protagonist, a citizen of the oppressive futurist Earth regime, a dropout from the most prestigious academy in the world, and overall a part-time ne'er do-well rogue and full-time ragamuffin.


She switches between being too smart for her own good, and too unlucky to have nice things.

Geno is one of the unknown Heroes guarding Earth. He seems like a chill but responsible mentor.

 Have a voice for him being chill, another for being excited about discussing Earth's potential, and a third for fighting against a giant monster.

All living full lives, probably trying to push their species forward. And its our job to help them stay alive, so they can keep evolving. They don't even know we're here... but they don't need to.
