Star Wars: Lando | Comic Dub (Additional Roles)
Project Overview
Krayt Dragon Films is proud to announce that we will be continuing our Star Wars comic dubs with the Lando series! KDF has been producing critically acclaimed comic series similar to this one for three years, especially Star Wars content. We are thrilled to include this series in our line up! Before we delve too far into what this project is about, we have supplied links to some of our previously completed works to give you a feel for what you will be voicing.

How it Works:
Suffice to say, we have mastered bringing to life comics over our near three year run on YouTube. We pride ourselves on our company's quality in both visuals, sound effects, music, and the most important part: the voice actors. All productions start with a highly detailed and descriptive casting call. Our typical policy is we don't cast actors until the last day of the call so everyone has plenty of time to audition. Our CC's typically last 2-3 weeks. At the end of the CC process, the Series Director and Casting Director sit down together and make the casting decisions based on a variety of factors such as audio quality, performance, vocal range, talent, etc. Once the casting decisions have been made, we send a link for a private Discord server where you will find your scripts, schedule meetings for live voice direction, and to just meet and mingle with your fellow castmates. The production time on all projects are airtight, all lines are due within seven days of the script's release to allow voice actors time to first takes and if requested, retakes. If a request is requested you will have three days after the retake request is made to redo your lines. From there it is up to the Director and Producer to bring to life the comic. Production time can range from a few days to a few weeks so please try to have your audio in as quickly as possible so production can begin. Rinse and repeat until the series is complete!
The Synopsis:
Before he joined the rebellion, before he ran Cloud City, Lando made his way in the galaxy getting by on some swindles, some swagger, and a smile. Lobot at his side, Lando has a plan to steal a very valuable ship… but has he bitten off more than he can chew? Writer Charles Soule (Death of Wolverine, Inhuman, She-Hulk) and artist Alex Maleev (Daredevil, Spider-Woman, Moon Knight) bring us the tale of a scoundrel in his natural element - trouble!

Ground rules:
- Please make sure you can commit to the series and reprising your roles. The series is a rather lengthy one which will require you to reprise your role for close to a year.
- Please be able to get your lines in the very same week you get the script. Production time will be airtight!
- Have professional grade equipment or at the bare minimum make sure your audio is top notch. No background noise!
- Have a Discord or be able to create one. This allows for us to communicate and upload documents much easier than Skype or any other platform.
- Lastly, enjoy yourselves!

A human male who served as a commodore in the Imperial Navy and commanded his own Imperial-class Star Destroyer. He led a trio of Imperial Star Destroyers to recapture Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine's luxury pleasure craft, the Imperialis, after it was stolen from Orbital Shipyard CC-24 in the Castell system. Idel destroyed the shipyard and then attempted to use gravity mines to capture the Imperialis.
Captain Shan and Conro--we are ordered to recover the Emperor’s pleasure craft, the corvette currently attempting to escape the Castell System. Call Sign Imperialis.
What I think, Captain Shan, is that the Emperor Palpatine that ship bad. Badly. If I were you, I would focus on that. But first, the Emperor instructed me to provide an...Object Lesson on the consequences of failure to respect his property. The shipyard, if you please.

A male human who served as a Captain in the Imperial Navy of the Galactic Empire. He commanded one of three Star Destroyers sent to the recover the Imperialis—personal pleasure corvette of Galactic Emperor Palpatine—when it was stolen in the Castell system. After Commodore Idel, commander of one of the other Star Destroyers, offered one million credits to whoever captured the corvette, Shan tried to use his vessel's tractor beam to secure it. Captain Conro of the third Star Destroyer had the same idea, and the two vessels' beams locked onto each other causing the ships to collide and allowing the Imperialis to escape. He is in his 40’s, and has an accent.
You don’t think sending Star Destroyers to deal with a group of thieving colonial scum was perhaps...overkill, Commodder Idel?

Under the command of Commodore Idel, he and Captain Shan traveled to the Castell system to try and capture the yacht Imperialis after it was stolen by a group of thieves led by the smuggler Lando Calrissian. The trio of Imperials failed in their mission, after Calrissian tricked Conro and Shan into making their Star Destroyers collide and escaped the system.

A feline humanoid clone. He and his clone lover Aleksin worked as hand-to-hand combat experts at the time of the Galactic Civil War. Sometime prior to the Battle of Hoth, they lent their services to the gambler Lando Calrissian in order to earn enough money to afford a clone they would rear as their child. He sounds a bit younger than Aleskin.
