I’m hiring a female on-camera host for my YouTube anime commentary channel. The content will focus on opinionated reviews, recaps, hot takes, and discussion-based videos covering anime series, trends, and topics within the community.
The role requires someone who is comfortable speaking directly to the camera and can deliver strong, confident opinions in an engaging and natural way. The tone should feel conversational but still structured, with clear takes that keep viewers interested throughout longer videos.
You must be familiar with anime and comfortable speaking about it in a natural, informed way. This includes being able to accurately pronounce Japanese names, titles, and common terms without hesitation. A general understanding of anime culture, trends, and terminology is expected so the delivery feels authentic and confident rather than forced or scripted.
Videos will typically run between 20–30 minutes, so the ability to maintain energy, pacing, and audience engagement over longer recordings is important. A strong on-screen presence and clear communication style are key. Previous experience is required, particularly with on-camera content or YouTube-style presentation.
Rate: $100 per video (negotiable). An alternative option is a lower upfront rate combined with a percentage of the ad revenue generated by each video. This can be a good fit for someone interested in a more performance-based model, where earnings scale with how well the content performs. The goal is to find a setup that works well for both sides, especially for a long-term collaboration.
