  1. The adjutant character is a reference to the StarCraft 2 Terran Adjutant.

  2. As seen in this video:

  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEaY8One1zg

  4. The voice actor would ideally also be a woman with a cool, smooth and young voice.

  5. The lines should be voiced without much intonation,

  6. but not lifeless like a real computer voice. Use the StarCraft 2 Adjutant video as reference.

  7. If you study the reference you can hear that the Adjutant mostly switches between 2 forms of intonation.

  8. For example, the first quote in the reference video is "Addon Complete" the "Complete" has more linguistic stress than the "Addon".

  9. The stress is on "Complete".

  10. Also note the very small pause between the words. This simulates that a computer has predefined words and combines them to make a sentance.

  11. Example: "Your ally's base is under attack" has every word normally spaced out. But there is a longer pause between "base" and "is under attack".

  12. because the computer could use the same recording for "Your ally's base" in different warnings.

PLEASE, submit an UNEDITED audition. Do not try to recreate the adjutant effect.

  • Game Paused.     Game Resumed.

  • A planet's takeover is imminent.

  • Your ships have encountered an asteroid field.
