James Johnston is an NYC based actor, originally from New Jersey. His most recent work was an apprenticeship with Actor Theatre of Louisville's 2020-2021 Professional Training Company where he and a handful of apprentices pivoted from live theatre to producing their own work in a digital space. James has a BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts and has trained at the Stella Adler Studio and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He's also a NYC licensed tour guide and his blood is 50% homemade black cold brew.

James auditions for a number of roles on a project I was developing. He was shortlisted for several of them. He's got a unique voice and exceptional sound quality. But what made him great to work with was his enthusiasm, friendliness, always responding to messages from production, and delivering his lines quickly. These kinds of things made my life as a producer really easy. I'd work with him again in a second. I'd recommend him to anyone.
