shinozakeh for Cool Second Year

Cool Second Year

Role assigned to: taryn-ryn-ryn-a-bell

Anyone auditioning for the Cool Second Year will need to be in the range of an alto range, a cool voice that can reach deep notes with little to no difficulty as expected of a cool idol. It should also be powerful, able to keep a steady and strong singing voice and at times other times a mellow voice as well, so take Umi and Riko for inspiration. It's why the recommended song is Strawberry Trapper!

The idol herself is encouraged to be a modest girl, but anything can happen! We have ideas of the second year cool being the rich girl in our group, we will discuss this when you get casted.

Auditioning for the second year cool will require you to have a feminine voice that would fit a second year girl in highschool. Honestly, I don't even know about the second years. They're just whatever they want to be? They're clearly above the first years though, but they're not as mature as the third years.

Second years do not have any expectations based on year yet. We expect auditions from singers around the ages of 16 to 20, however, it's not a strict rule and it should not scare you away from auditioning for this role!

Audition links in case CCC is acting up.

  • Read the project description and character description before auditioning.

You must sing Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE *AND* for your second song you must sing a solo from a Cool girl /or/ Strawberry Trapper.

The previous second song option was to choose a song from lily white or BiBi, this is still valid if you'd like to do that. The length of the singing does not matter, but singing at least thirty seconds is recommended. Adding extra songs to show off your other range is a good idea too!

Off-track is recommended so we can hear your timing, but it's not required.

  • Due to many auditions having trouble with voice acting with no lines, I've decided to write up mock-up character lines! Feel free to try any kind of character voice with them and you can change it up however you want. You can even just make your own if you'd like!

The lines were based on the "Love Live! Sunshine!! Hajimemashite!" scripts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ0T2Xs8OYo

We will make official "Hajimemashite!" clips for our introductions of our characters once they are completely designed and approved. If you'd prefer to use a clip you already have of voice acting then you can use that too.

The names and characters are fake were purely made for your voice acting audition, but the personalities were made in the thoughts of each attribute and year! I would like to clarify that this is not your character and that it's just to give you something to work with. I threw in some of the names of the current members to give it a more personal feeling, but the characterisation of the mentioned members might be off, haha. You can do whatever you'd like with the lines!

Kimura (Family name) Miyu (Given name)

    Ramuna High School (High School)

    Ai♥doru (School idol group)

    EnlightEn (Rival idol group)

    Long VA Lines

"Hello, nice to meet you! I'm Kimura Miyu, a second year at Ramuna High School. I was born and raised in Yokohama with my mother, father, little sister, and Tama-chan, my really cute cat! My hobbies are art and crafts and riding my bicycle for twenty miles a day, it's really refreshing! I also like spending time with my cat and oh! There was this time where my Tama-chan brought home- (Kokoa: You should say something more interesting than your cat story.) But Kokoa I'm not really sure what to say...!

(Saki: It's easy! You're a school idol so talk about being a school idol!) Saki, it might be easy for you, but it's really hard for me to think of myself as a school idol!

...Sorry about that, I'm just not sure if I'll ever be able to get over my embarrassment of being a school idol... Not like it's bad to be one or anything, but... It's really hard to take in that I'm now one of the school idols I heard so much about! It doesn't seem like me... On stage, dressed in cute idol outfits and singing idol music like this... But I'm really glad that I'm doing this because I'm having a lot of fun being a school idol! Anyhow, I'm truly grateful for all of you kindly supporting me and Ai♥doru, so please continue to support us! Thank you very much!"

    Short VA Lines

I'm Kimura Miyu, a second year student at Ramuna High School. My favourite colour is yellow and I like to take long walks on the beach. (Normal)

Tama-chan is so cute! Do you want to see this video I took yesterday? Isn't she adorable? (Happy)

Ah, wait a moment! Are you sure you're not forgetting anything? We could be unprepared... (Hesitant)

You're really my best friend, aren't you? You've always been there for me.... I'm so sorry that I didn't realise it until now! (Emotional)

If no one else can do it, then I'll gladly take the position of writing the lyrics! I'll try my best! (Forward)

I'm putting my foot down. You can't treat your friends, no- anyone like that! You need to apologise.(Stern)

Have you been lying to me all this time!? I thought I could depend on you... Go away! I don't want to see you right now or ever! (Angry/Hurt)

  • Introduce yourself in the audio clip or in comments! We'd love to know more about yourself so we can ensure that you'd be a good fit for our project!

Here's a form you can use if you're unsure what to say! We'd still prefer if you'd use an original introduction of yourself.

Name or what name you'd like to be referred as:

Age: (Or what year you would be in this project if you were to be faithful to the role ages)

Your social media: (We're asking for contacts like Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube, etc. This can be sent privately if you're uncomfortable with this information being public!)

    Favourite Love live! Idol:

What you would type yourself as a Love Live! attribute?: (Smile/Pure/Cool)

Favourite types of characters: (That you'd want to make your idol to be based off of. You could also state existing Love Live! idols if it's easier for you.)

How many projects you're apart of right now or your schedule:

Voice types & Range: (Describe what kind of voice types and singing ranges you're able to utilise strongly.)

What would you able to contribute to the group?: (Art, graphics, writing, research, video making, audio mixing, character design, and peer reviewing. We may have missed some skills, so list them if you have more!)

How comfortable are you with feedback?: (Does it make you anxious or are you all cool with it? We need to know your boundaries so this doesn't become a bad experience for you. What kind of things would you not tolerate? Our group is mainly about designing together, so this is very important.)

Anything else you'd like to share?:

For any future auditioners: This audition is basically what we'd like to hear! Shinozakeh approached us on Discord, showed a lot of interest by asking us many questions about the group before auditioning which is really admirable and cool.

Your introduction is very clean and straight to the point! However, it seemed a little unnatural and I'm not sure if you always speak that straight forwardly. Did you write down the form and then read it out loud? Since the voice acting lines weren't added when you auditioned, I don't think your introduction is something we can accurately measure your voice acting capabilities. Your voice is really pretty (!) and soft, but it's a bit weak for a second year cool. I had chosen Strawberry Trapper as the recommended song choice because I checked out your previous auditions on CCC and I thought it would be able to bring a much more stronger voice from you. Maybe you could practice on projecting your voice? I don't think you'd have the same issue with being too soft while voice acting because it's something you have to act out. I do agree with a previous comment you had where you would have been better if you had voice acting lines to use which is why I added them! I remember that you were thinking of auditioning and I think it would be a good idea now that the project descriptions and roles has been rewritten. I don't think we had much of an idea of what we wanted for this role when you first auditioned, but the current role description for the second year cool should be more clear now. Thank you for your dedicated work, shinozakeh!
