Non-traditional background for voice acting, but helps me connect deeper to the characters I portray. My Master's in Psychology sharpened my understanding of human behavior, motivation, and emotional dynamics which directly informs how I connect with characters and portray their inner lives authentically. Psychology is also what drew me to voice acting in the first place: I care deeply about consistent worldbuilding, in-depth character backgrounds, and emotionally honest storytelling. Long term, I'm working toward writing my own animated series, and this education will be as central to that work as any creative training.

Helped me take my voice acting to the next level by learning traditional skills of the trade. 

Completed a storytelling and speech coaching program with an executive communications specialist whose clients include Google, Amazon, the Gates Foundation, and TEDx speakers. Through this program I developed skills in crafting narratives for maximum audience impact, using voice intentionally as a storytelling instrument, and calibrating tone and delivery to connect authentically with a target listener. These skills translate directly into voice acting — every character and every narration is ultimately a story being told to a specific audience, and this training sharpened my instinct for how to make that connection land.
