Whispling

About me --> Hi, you can call me Whisp! I've been writing for about 8 years and drawing for 7, but up until now, these passions have remained strictly unprofessional. I don't ever plan to become a full-time artist or writer, but I thought it would be nice to come on here and share my talents with others, and maybe get some professional experience while I'm at it. And also I thought I'd try voice acting! It seems fun. As you can probably tell, I'm very much a baby at all this---I'm an 18 y/o uni student haha.

Writing --> My main genre is fantasy. Most of my writing experience is in prose, as I'm trying my best to write several novels; but the skills I've learned in characterization, dialogue wiring, plot construction, etc can be transferred to many other formats. I can write in many tones, ranging from serious and dark to light and humorous. I've been told by very reliable sources that are definitely not biased (my partner, friends, family, random strangers on discord...) that my writing is engaging, and the funnies are actually funny!

Art --> I'm a character artist at heart, though full illustrations are certainly within my capabilities. I started off as a warrior cats kid and transitioned into a furry, and in the past years have become proficient in drawing humans as well--all of that is to say, I'm still a bit better at drawing animals, but I'm generally able to draw any type of character. My style is fully lined with complex shading; I've been told I'm good with expressions, and I make good use of colors, making my illustrations feel like they have a lot of depth.
