Jacob Alexander Albert, better known as his stage name JAKE, is a Caribbean-Canadian singer/songwriter. Born on November 19, 1981, he started his career in music early in life in Australia at the age of thirteen. JAKE has worked with a wide range of different artists from different genres. In February of 2007 he managed to cross paths with two time grammy nominated writer/producer/performer Fresh IE. In the summer of 2018 JAKE toured with Fresh and his team to numerous parts of Canada. As of 2019 JAKE has been focusing on his Caribbean roots through the soca genre and released his debut album Da Mango Tree on July 12, 2019.
