In this class, I learned how to better understand the way the industry sees me, and how I can leverage my type to increase my booking rates.
I learned a ton about the basics of animation voice over, from shifting your physicality to create new sounds within your voice, to the importance of breath and script analysis.
Level 1 Intro To Animation Voice-Over (3 Weeks)
This class taught me how to approach creating different characters through applying a variety vocal techniques, as well as the importance of vocal energy and having a thorough understanding of your character's wants and needs.
This class taught me how to really stand out in my auditions, and how to approach copy in a way that excites and catches casting's attention.
B.A. in Theater with an Acting Concentration
Rated the number one BA Theater program in the country by the Princeton Review, Muhlenberg College was the setting that fostered my artistry and laid the foundation for my well-rounded approach to acting. Highlights from my course work at Muhlenberg: Voice & Movement, Ballet 1, Modern 1, Jazz and Hip-Hop, Laban Workshop, Opera Workshop, Audition Workshop, Stage Combat, Classical Verse Acting (Shakespeare verse and prose), Acting levels 1-3 (Meisner), Experimental Techniques (Brecht, etc.), Scene Study, Stagecraft, Theatre History, On-Camera Acting, and Solo Performance.
This class focused specifically on self-taping and on-camera technique.
This class focused on developing practical approaches to breaking down copy, and making strong choices that get you booked.
Finding Your Character Throughline (3 Weeks)
This class taught us how to approach creating and developing a character, as well as discovering their emotional journey and "arc".
This class focused on both comedic and dramatic acting for tv/film, teaching us how to bring our best work into our auditions.
This class covered the basics of commercial voice acting, from breaking down the copy to utilizing different breath work techniques to breath life into our reads.
This class covered advanced skills and techniques, while also teaching insider business knowledge for being a competitive voice over artist in the modern age.
This class taught the basics of on-camera commercial acting.
Auditioning for Co-Stars, Guest Stars, and Series Regulars (3 Weeks)
This class was a deep dive into audition for network television.
Shakespeare and Stage Combat Study Abroad Program
