Character Description:  Kotori is Yuma’s childhood friend, and, despite his antics, always supported him, even when it seemed like he was going to fail.  His personality has that sort of charm that kept her around him all these years.  Although Yuma is terrible at dueling, you will always find her by his side and cheering him on.  She has an abrasive side though and gets frustrated at Yuma whenever he messes around.  Despite this, she also has a cheerful and stubborn personality along with an over-protectiveness towards Yuma, the latter is due to her crush on the oblivious boy.  Nonetheless, Kotori is the type of supportive friend that anybody would want to have around.

Voice Description:  Kotori is a thirteen-year-old girl, so her voice will have to have a pitch to it.  Her voice will need to show that she can become authoritative when necessary and sweet to add to her innocent appearance.

  • After Yuma makes his move, Tetsuo points out to Kotori that it was a simple mistake, which causes Kotori to yell at Yuma.

"What do you think you’re doing, Yuma?!  Get it together!"

  • Seeing Yuma on the verge of losing, Kotori internally monologues her hopes for Yuma.

"Yuma.  Don't give up.  I know you.  You'd never give up on a challenge!  Keep moving forward and bring it to em!  I believe in you, Yuma!"

  • Yuma manages to pull off an Xyz Summon, which prompts Kotori to ask Tetsuo about the sudden turn of events.

"Number 39: Utopia?  Did he...always have that card in his deck?  If he did, then why did he pick now of all times to play it?"

I loved your energy for these auditions, and I especially appreciate you going through lines again but delivering them in a different way. It allows directors to see more variety from the voice actor themselves. Some critiques though. I think, if it's possible, you should try moving into a more compact room in your house, specifically the closet. The closet is closed off enough and probably has enough clothes to where the sound doesn't bounce off the walls. which causes background echo and that acoustic feel to the sound. It may seem uncomfortable at first (If it's not a walk-in closet), but you'll get better results from your sound in the long run. As for your voice, while it is great and full of energy, it does seem a bit older for Kotori. She's younger and more naive, so I believe she would have a higher pitch to her voice. All in all though, you did have a nice audition, and I thank you for auditioning!
