Kagetora is a fighter through and through. Reminiscent of his father, Kurotora, one of the three legendary kai brothers, said to be worth a whole army between the three of them. His uncle, Akatora, died taking out Akakabuto's (Red Helm's) eye out, and Kagetora is inspired by him, as his father passed the tale down to his sons and nephews. In the final fight against the monster, Kagetora recalls this tale to inform the beast of the kai dog's warrior spirit.

"I'm an Ohu soldier, Kagetora, son of Kurotora! If you think a little scratch is gonna put my tail between my legs, you're wrong!"

"He didn't want us to die needlessly... that's why he wouldn't allow us to fight that monster."

Hmm.. I think I might cast you! I like it, but I'm also expecting some other auditions, so I'm going to wait. Also, Kyoshiro should be above this one on the casting call. Anyways, could you just do one thing over? The last 2 lines... could you make them a bit more sad? Like when he is speaking about the guy not wanting them to die needlessly, Maybe sound a bit more choked up? And at the last line, I like the yell, but for this line, could you add a bit more anguish, and sadness, like you are breaking into crying, and then after the line, cry quietly through gritted teeth, like you are trying to hold the tears back? Knowing you can cry or sound like you are going to will help me place you, weather as this character, or another. Thank you again for auditioning, and I'm excited to hear more if you are willing to re do it!
