Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Fandub: Yuma Vs. Shark I
konami22 for Tetsuo Takeda
Character Description: Tetsuo is an adamant person, who happens to enjoy other people’s embarrassment, including his friends. He has kind of this cocky/bully attitude towards others as well. Despite all this, Tetsuo is a loyal friend (most of the time), who doesn’t like to show his “soft” side all that much, while also possessing a strong will.
Voice Description: Because of Tetsuo being around thirteen-years-old and his appearance, his voice will be a mix of deep/pitchy. While his big size indicates he will have a deep voice, his baby face begs to differ, which will kind of make it sound like it’s developing. This one is a hard one to pull off. Try your best and give your best take on it! It might be even better than what was originally conceptualized.
Yuma makes a simple mistake during his turn, which causes Tetsuo to correct him in frustration/annoyance.
"Yuma! Both Spell and Trap Cards can be set face down, remember?! Don’t announce them either!"
(Director's Note: "Xyz" is pronounced "Exceez". Like the word "Exceed" but replace the letter "D" with "Z" instead.)
Shark has the same setup that beat Tetsuo out on his field. Tetsuo realizes this and begins to fear Yuma losing.
"Now Shark has two monsters with the same level on his field. This is turning out exactly like when I dueled him! If I were a gambling man, I’d say he’s planning to Xyz Summon! Gah! Now there’s no way Yuma can win!"
(Director's Note: "Xyz" is pronounced "Exceez". Like the word "Exceed" but replace the letter "D" with "Z" instead.)
Shark manages to Xyz Summon Number 17: Leviathan Dragon, which isn't the monster that Shark used against Tetsuo during their duel, confusing the boy.
"Hey, that’s not the Xyz Monster he used against me! What is this?! I-I never heard of a “Number” Monster before!"
