Maxine "Max" West is a 14-year-old anime-obsessed girl. She's the only one in town who knows literally everything about anime, so if one needed advice on such, they would talk to her. At one point in her life, she accidentally swallowed part of an anime DVD and gained anime-style abilities, but keeps this a secret from her peers. This also allows her to view everything as though it were an anime, granting her already expansive imagination a major boost.
