Born a slave, Ventress didn't feel compassion in her life until she was rescued and recruited by the Jedi Order. When her Jedi master was brutally murdered before her eyes by Weequay pirates, Ventress lost all control over her emotions, and consequently left the Jedi, never to look back. Her next relationship was with the equally brutal Count Dooku, who recruited the talented young woman as his Sith apprentice and General of the Separatist army during the Clone Wars. When Dooku turned on her and tried to kill her, he left Ventress distrustful of all around her. Now a bounty hunter, Ventress scrapes by on what she earns from capture and guard jobs.
