An Imperial Officer from the tyrannical Imperial country known as Alfard, he has an unexpectedly tender and loyal heart, a characteristic which makes him a poor soldier. His strong sense of justice allowed him to cast aside his imperial affiliation to assist Diadem, a country under attack by the Empire.
Notes: Generally thoughtful and considerate. Doesn't normally talk out of turn. An accent would work well here, but it is not mandatory.
(Incredulous) It's unthinkable! To act against the Empire?!
(realization, horrified) "Lady Death" of the Mad Wolf Unit... Is that who you are?
(angry) The King came out alone, as promised! Why did you shoot?!
(visibly shaken, but determined) Call me what you will, but I stand only for justice!
(watching a loved one die, refusing to be persuaded) No, Almarde. It's not your fault. Don't talk like that! I won't leave you here!
(open to interpretation) We have lost a great deal... But you taught us to believe in ourselves.
You did a fine job at expressing the emotions behind Lyude’s character. Props for going all out and not holding back on lines that needed a strong delivery. For the “Lady Death” line, I'd like to suggest using a more humorless tone, with a tinge of disapproval. This "Lady Death" character took part in a mission that slaughtered men, women, and children. Lyude had been given the same mission, but refused to be a part of it, and is very distrustful upon learning that a party member traveling with him had gone through with the mission. Nicely done!
