I am a voice Actor as well as a video and sound editor, and I also love to animate and make stories. I am an animal lover, and I also compose some music. I am currently making a Fan dub of the anime, Ginga Densetsu Weed, And and making it as professional as possible to highlight my skills as an editor in both audio and video, and my voice acting skills, as well as the voice acting skills at the others who help me along with the project.
Everybody knows that everyone on here is trying to get paid and I am no different. I am on here making a portfolio with the series, and I hope that it will also help the others that have joined in. We are making this fan dub as professional as possible to highlight skills that will be desirable for other's projects, Voice acting for all of us, plus all of the editing and recruiting by me.
That being said, I am not opposed to doing free work sometimes if I am really liking a project, and it is a good quality one. As a general rule though, I would like to get some paid roles for my voice acting ability and my other skills as well. Here are my prices.
Video editing:
Light editing =$5 per 30 minutes of video.
(Just adding music, or effects covering the whole vid or large parts that dont take much time and effort to do)
Medium editing =$10 per 30 minutes of video.
(Music, or background music without voices, or else voices added without background noise or music. 1 exeption: if there is only one song to be added, I'll do both the voices and music. Also will blend up to 5 different clips, or make up to 5 cuts out of a video(meaning trimming out parts that are unwanted in the final product. Some simple text, but not a lot like in subtitles for a whole 10 minutes or more.)
Heavy editing. =$20-$25 per 30 minutes of video.
(Any amount of labor more than described in the medium level. Lots of sound files to deal with, or more that five trimmings and/or transitions, or complicated effects, or subtitles and/or dancing text throughout the whole thing. If all(or almost all depending on the amount of labor) of these things are needed, and not just one or a few, then I'll need to charge $25 instead of $20 per 30 minutes.
Voice acting:
(Special note: if I have to re-do more than twice, the price might go up, but two re-does means I've tried three times at a line, so that shouldn't happen much. (Re-do meaning re-sending lines after they are rejected, NOT to be confused with sending in different versions of a line in same file for the editor to choose thier favorite parts.))
Light =$5 for up to 10 lines
( This is any project that I will be doing 10 lines or less. Each line consisting of about an average of 15 words.
Medium =$15 for up to 35 lines
(Over 10, and up to 35 lines of the same length mentioned above.)
Heavy =$30 per every 80 lines.
(A deal compared to the others. I added 10 limes for free.(it would have been 70 otherwise.)
Animation:
8FPS:
$1 per second (guides)
$2 per second (lines)
$3 per second (lines and color)
$4 per second (lines, color, and shade/lighting)
(All previous=no background)
$5 per second (lines and flat color on still un-detailed background.(just lines, and/or fill color. No real shading, or texture.))
$6 per second (lines and flat color on moving un-detailed background.(can also be used to transitions between detailed background if moving quickly.))
$7 per second
(CHOICE between lines and flat color on good quality still digitally painted background, OR lines, color, and shading/lighting on a still un-detailed background)
$8 per second
(CHOICE between lines and color on a moving detailed background, OR lines, color and shading/lighting on a moving un-detailed background.)
$9 per second
(Lines, color, and shading/lighting on a still detailed background.)
$10 per second
(Lines, color, and shading/lighting on a moving detailed background.)
DIFFERING FRAMERATES:
If wanting a different framerates, just do the simple math, as my labor is really priced by the amount of work put into each frame. For example, since all these are based on 8FPS, you can do the math for each one like this.. say you want lines and color without a background. At 8FPS that =$3 per second at that framerate, but what if you wanted a slower framerate? What about faster? Heres a guide to calculate your price.
(Lines and color /no background prices)
8FPS=$3.00 per second.
1FPS=(3÷8=) 37.5 cents per second
6FPS=(3÷8= 0.375 0.375×6=) $2.25 per second
12FPS=(3÷8=0.375. 0.375×12=)$4.50 per second
18FPS=(6FPS=$2.25 per second. That times three for 18FPS=)$6.75 per second
24FPS=(8FPS=$3.00 per second. Multiplied by 3 for 24 FPS, that=)$9.00 per second.
SPECIAL EFFECTS OR FILTERS:
special effects or filters can add $1 per every minute they are used in.
