If we dub some of the original comic, you'll read the narration under the panels. In the case of podfics, you'll read anything that isn't a pesterlog or dialogue. Clear voice, good pronunciation.
A young man stands in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 13th of April, 2009, is this young man's birthday. Though it was thirteen years ago he was given life, it is only today he will be given a name!

If you use Audacity you can edit out the background noise by going to "Effects", "noise reduction", click to get the noise profile, aply, select your entire recording pressing "CTRL + A", go into "effects" and click "repeat noise reduction". Your voice is great. Btw after you edit out the background noise, be certain that you move a little in your high pitch settings.
