Marx is planned to be a major antagonist in the SSBU universe. As of now I am not sure how significant he will actually be, but he is supposed to show up in Episode 4 for now. He will work alongside Iggy.

Marx has a high pitched voice, if you have any equipment you can try to manipulate your voice to sound over the top high while still keeping it realistic enough.

  • Nyeh hehehehe. It is no use to resist.

  • First I will devour all of your friends and then your pathetic universe. Nothing could ever stop me!

  • Oh really now? We will see about that! Kyahahahahahahahahahahaha!

This is just the right amount of creep for him. Very well done ^^! The only bit of critique I would have is that it would be nice to make him sound a little more threatning and intimidating. In addition Marx would have some lines where he is a bit more serious and lowers his voice in these cases. Do you think you could pull that off as well? In that case I would give you a couple more lines where you could try that bit out.

Yeah! I can definitely try to do that. Actually I think one of the takes I did before I finished with this one, I had done the second line a had done it a bit deep. Not like super deep, still high pitched but it wasn't where I wanted it to be. But yeah, I can definitely give it a go whenever you'd like.

Very nice then, I will just give you a couple of lines here ^^. Line 1: I am serious! Do you wish to lose a limb or maybe... all of them? Line 2: Welcome to (emphasis) my reality... or is it your reality? Either way, you'll struggle and pay for your insolence! Line 3: Don't compare him to me!

I have finally decided on the voice for Marx! For anyone curious, I liked the acting here incredibly well. The voice should also be enjoyable enough to listen to for a longer period of time. That is why I can see that one would have to sacrifice a little bit of a higher pitch for that. In addition, the creepy and crazy factor are just on another level here. Nonetheless, a big thank you to all the people who auditioned for Marx as it was not an easy choice to make!
