Five Minute Mysteries - "Death Calls at Dinner"
KermitGraham for Sergeant Barker
Sergeant Barker is the head of the investigation and has the most lines. Calm and always in control of the situation, his experience is reflected in a deeper, mature voice. He has a rough, urbanite accent.
How you do? I'm Sergeant Barker, the homicide division and this is one of my boys, Mike Grady. Where's the body?
Hmm, You might as well be comfortable everybody, this will take just a little while. Hmm... he's dead alright, peaceful, too.
You mind telling me what happened?
Did you use a voice changer for this? If not, then woah, you have one impressively baritone voice! Unfortunately, it generally feels too modern to really gel with the character. I would have preferred more of a "new yorker" sort of accent, which I should have clarified in the character description. Thank you for your audition!
Thanks for the feedback, that's my real voice. I appreciate you
