An odd voice to be sure, this role is a hard one to get down. It's another case of being judged poorly by Dragon Ball fans if King Kai's voice isn't similar. He is the eye in the sky for most of our series, and the hardest part of this role will be mastering the "marbles in your mouth" style of voice he has while still maintaining diction and being understandable.

not bad. the voice reminds me of Cartman a little a too much i think. But then again perhaps both voices are done fairly similarly. seems like a slightly different version of king kai that i can see. i give it a thumbs either way!

Lol great audition. The improv was definitely funny but the set lines were there because King Kai yells a lot and we need to hear both his ups and downs. But you do the voice rather naturally so goodjob! Thanks for auditioning.
