Alto/contralto, teenager. Ideally can reach up to F#5 (only 1 song gets that high) but we will work with you if you can’t go up that high. The lower you can go, the better. We’re looking for a bored, apathetic tone. Really sound like you don’t care. And when Susie gets ticked off, definitely add a growl or something that sounds incredibly intimidating. If you can sing in that tone, even better! Must be able to rap and belt.

  • Example sentences:

    [Intimidating]

Just lemme say one little thing.
Seems like a waste to get expelled just for having a snack. So Kris. If I KNOW you're gonna pull the trigger... Heh heh heh. Why don't I just get expelled for some REAL carnage? Kris...  How do you feel... about losing your face?

Nah. Kris.  You've got a good mother... it'd be a shame to make her bury her child.

    [Shocked/Sad]

L...Lancer... you... you wanted to get rid of us?

    ... I thought we were a team.

    [Hurt]

Nah, it’s fine. It’s fine, actually. You don’t have to say anything.

I get it. I get it, you know?

Why would anyone... really wanna be my friend anyway?

    [Angry]

    Shut up.

    SHUT UP!

  • Sing a song that shows off your singing capabilities.

(Example songs: Worst Pies in London-Sweeney Todd, Candy Store-Heathers)

  • (Optional)

Add some lines that would show off more of your voice, improv or otherwise, that the given lines couldn't.

That’s alright! I don’t know if I feel that growly voice but thanks for trying it, it helped a lot! If you get cast I might have you refrain from using it since it shouldn’t feel difficult. Anyway thanks again for the reaudition!

That's totally fine! I was happy to try it, though I agree that it doesn't entirely sound like Susie when i listen to it. Maybe I should re-word myself a little bit: the voice itself isn't really that difficult to do (quite the opposite, ironically enough)––it's more so that it's difficult to maintain while also making it sound right to myself, I guess? I don't know if that's the right way to describe it, but I don't know a better one, haha! I'm just happy to have the chance to do audition for this at all, so thank you! :)

Yeah I get that! I think I’ll definitely take both your auditions into account when choosing. Thanks again and good luck!
