Pharos is an important figure, appearing as a young child, he is first seen upon the arrival of Makoto in the dorm, where he gives Makoto a contract, prompting him to sign his name. It is later revealed that the contract that Pharos had Makoto sign allows Makoto to access the Velvet Room, with his reasons and purpose unknown.

Pharos is a child so he needs a much younger voice. Because of this, any female is free to audition for him as well
NOTE: Though I am aware of the reason why Pharos and Makoto share the same voice, I decided to give him a separate voice and avoid conflict in voicing a protagonist and a recurring character. If I cast this character to a male, the same VA will also play Ryoji Mochizuki if I do the later movies.
