The protagonist of the story, who awakens with no memories in a strange, snowy land with nothing more than the clothes on his back. Most would call him chronically lazy and flippant, taking any excuse to avoid work or pass a snarky comment, but when the need arises, he navigates dangerous situations with surprising intelligence and craftiness.

Voice: Closer to a grouchy middle-aged guy than a young man. Dry, wry, and frequently the dubious straight man to his eccentric allies. More casual and snarky than most of the cast, his tone is closest to normal modern vernacular. Often suffers the brunt of the story's physical comedy, so some yelping and screaming will be necessary (primarily comedic, but not always). NOTE: At times in the narrative, he has to impersonate a man of nobility. This act is convincing to other characters, so he must have a side capable of poise, dignity, and formal speech.
