PLEASE NOTE: Being Dutch is highly recommended, but unlike HyPN0se is not required, for the role, as Nimja only says a handful of Dutch words and phrases in the series. Note, however, that Nimja is a REAL PERSON with a very distinct voice/Dutch accent. Personality: For the most part, Nimja (whose real name will not be revealed to you) is extremely calm, gentle, and stoic. He’s a hypnotist, after all; it’s pretty much his job to relax people, so he himself is relaxed. Just about nothing fazes him. However, he also has a playful, mischievous side that shows on occasion, especially if he is putting someone in trance or engaging in a tickling/poking match. When he’s not hypnotizing people, though, Nimja is a GIANT nerd. Ask him about Dungeons and Dragons, Queen, Monty Python, Discworld, or Portal, and be prepared to watch Nimja gush with sheer nerdiness and adorkableness about how much he loves and adores those things. Of course, though, Nimja is also one of the biggest dominants in the hypno community, and it shows. He will ask that you call him “sir” (or, if you’re OGiNiM, “mijnheer”), he will demand your full, unbridled obedience, and he always has a plan for any given situation. Due to this, Nimja is also extremely responsible and intelligent— and given that he has a full-time job as a programmer, that’s obvious. Overall, though, Nimja adores his subjects- to the point where he doesn’t see some subjects as merely subjects, but as true friends and confidants. That, really, is what truly defines Nimja- a hypnotist, nerd, dom, and lifelong friend and father figure all in one. Oh, and he’s Dutch. So there’s that.
(NOTE: Nimja is a real person and everything I mentioned above applies to Nimja’s real life personality. Probably the only thing not mentioned here is that in real life, Nimja practices BDSM... which won’t be mentioned or shown in the show, for obvious reasons! Keep it PG, folks! It’s Pokémon!)
