The Maneki-Neko is Christopher's boss and the owner of a tourist trap frequently used to scam visitors. He has a light toned voice and often speaks with over-exaggerated emotion.

    “And behold, the Relic of Destiny, our most sacred
    and renowned artifact, dragged from the battlefields of the bakeneko!” (bakeneko is pronounced bah-kay-nek-oh)

     

  • (whining)

    “What is our main attraction supposed to
    be now?!”

     

  • (cheerful)"Well! I must say all is forgiven. Now, if I am correct, you two seem to need an interpreter. And I'll tell you this, Christopher is the best of the best. I'm releasing him on favor. Take him."
