Description: Jasper is the eldest child of his siblings and the next in line to the throne. Ambitious and keen, Jasper looks very much to the prospect of inheriting his birthright and will defend his claim ruthlessly. Having been raised to lead from the moment he emerged from his mother's womb, he has given little thought to anything outside of his eventual ascension. When he is not zealously studying or training, the prince can be found amongst his friends at court, a company of beautiful ladies and up-and-coming young lordlings. He is chivalrous and courtly, mindful of his public image and reception. He has dark hair and dark red eyes, always upkeeping his attractive, seductive image.
Traits: Conscientious, intelligent, proud, severe, stubborn, thrill-chasing, somewhat power-hungry
Pitch: Medium to low.
Context: Upset and questioning why his brother is conniving.
<Confused> Wait, Jayce? Why were you - Then why are you here? Aren’t you in the same position as I? <Pause, disgusted> Ugh, scheming to get your way - I am not surprised you of all people would try to… ‘help.’ <Stern> Whatever plan you have, I want no part in it. I’ll be taking my leave.
Context: Angered that his siblings are not respecting him and their parents.
<Angry> That’s all you have to say about this matter? Since you are obviously incapable of emotion, I’ll leave. <Firm> However, need I remind you to respect the law and our sister’s engagement? Messing with fate will not only ruin you, but this family as well.
Context: Devastated that his betrothed is now dead, and upset that his siblings don't care that much.
<Distraught> Venus is dead! <Pause> Unfortunate? What do you mean, “unfortunate?” This is more than just that! Apparently, she was caught by some criminals, and… She jumped off a cliff into the ocean, trying to escape. <Shaky> Sh-she… She never resurfaced from the water.
