Description: Kora is a fiery young girl. She comes from a tribe of Phoenix-people, who have the ability to morph their bodies into phoenixes at any given time. Instead of training with regular weapons, they can bend and manipulate fire at will. The tribe comes from a small island to the west of Celux, where burnt forests and volcanoes make up the land. Kora prides herself on being a happy-go-lucky, caring, considerate person, and often can be seen as motherly. She has a big temper and a habit of taking out her anger on everyone around her. Despite this, Kora is generally mature for her age and very proper; though, she is sixteen years old, so she does stupid things every now and then.
Traits: Fiesty, intense, protective, high-strung, affectionate, determined, very passionate. WIDE range of emotion.
Pitch: No preference of pitch.
Context: Kora, imprisoned, is teasing another imprisoned character beside her.
<Non-chalant> Can you blame me? Here you have me, the chief’s daughter of a Phoenix tribe, and Venus, the daughter of a famous noble. And then there’s… erm... you. Some guy who never stops running his mouth. <Chuckle, sarcastic to their response> Here's me giving a damn!
Context: Kora is below the deck of an enemy pirate ship, high on adrenaline.
<Panicked, frustrated> Bombs, bombs, where are the - ergh! There’s nothing! No explosives anywhere! The only other thing that can be useful is the gunpowder in these cannons - Wait a second. I can blow a hole in the floor, hehe! <A pirate reveals himself to Kora intimidatingly> I’m not afraid to set this off! Good luck with tryin' to kill me, because I’m not gonna make it easy for you!
Context: Kora is deeply wounded, trapped in a cell with Venus.
<To Venus, wincing> First, I need you to calm down. Deep breaths. I don’t have much time. But… I need you to listen to me. Please. <In pain> Alright… <Slowly, wincing> Find a way to pick that lock. When you’re out, go up the ladder and you’ll see a bunch of crates around you. One of them has alcohol in it. ‘Saw some pirates supplying the crates with lots of ‘em before we were stuffed in here. Grab a bottle, find a clean rag, then come back here and give it to me.
