Dorthea is a divorced teacher, She is often very sarcastic. I don't care if a male or female plays this role. You can sound as close to Dorthy as possible or take it in your own direction! Just as in the original show she is a dynamic character that can go from being sarcastic to serious. 

  • (Sarcastic) No Ma! I'm upset, because Caitlyn Jenner looks better than me in a low cut dress.

  • How could you forget about something like this? We're never going to be able to make it in time.. None of us are!

  • You know I'm not really sure. We were married for 38 years and in all that time it always seemed like he would finish before I even got to the room.
