Arterius, as a mer-prince, has grow up in the lap of luxury. He has had most things done for him, and the only reason he can actually fight at all is because lancing is the sport of his homeland and all royalty are expected to engage in it. He has an AWFUL temper, getting mad at anyone who underestimates him, writes him off, or thinks he’s a girl as he is extremely effeminate and very proper. He has a great sense of drive and honor however, always willing to put right what he has done wrong, and do what his ancestors would wish him to do. He should be played by a male, but with a voice that sells the confusion over his gender.

“Simply because I care extremely well for my personal grooming and appearance does not mean I am effeminate! I find it absolutely absurd that only women may be associated with clear skin, long flowing hair, and a fair complexion! YOU are the misguided one!”
