Samael is a homeless man that happens upon one of Jeremiah's games of Initiate. He's got a very carefree attitude toward everything and almost always seems to be over the world. When he learns about Jeremiah's situation, however, he pities the boy and tries to help him despite his hatred of Initiate.  A running gag with him is that his snow-white hair makes people think he's old when he's only in his thirties. He's hiding something from Jeremiah and refuses to give it up.
